Exactly what my husband and I expected for a small town, local diner. Consistent, tasty, and filling. The food was average, but we didn't expect Michelin ratings. We had the fried green tomatoes, Chicken Athenian, and Marinated Pork chops. The hush puppies and coleslaw were good.Would visit again if in Chester! Next time I would save room for dessert as the red velvet Bundt cake looked delish!!

It's a decent little place for lunch, friendly staff, and the prices are inexpensive. Give it a try sometime!!

The quantity of food is not an issue. But, the quality is an issue. I had chicken teriyaki with side salad. My kids had chicken fettuccini Alfredo and chicken cyclone wraps. My husband got bacon cheeseburger with fries. None of the food was seasoned properly. Most of it had no taste. The best thing I had was thousand island dressing for my salad. As for the service, it was good. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was served quickly and was fresh.

Great country food. A staple of my small town. I prefer the hamburger steak. I don't eat here often but the food is the same every time.

I stopped here with my cousin and one of our good friends, since we were in the area. There were not a lot of restaurants open on Sunday, but this place seemed like it would be good to try. It's one of those home cooking places that I've grown up with and always reminds me of going to grandmas house to eat. They had a lot of food choices and the prices were cheap compared to most places. The entree and side selection were great. I ordered the ribeye steak sandwich with onion rings. The steak sandwich came on a regular style bun and the onion rings were perfectly fried. The steak was thin style and it was cooked to an almost perfect medium. The onion rings were very good. Being that there was so much good food to choose from, I wasn't really sure what to get. My cousin and friend both ordered fried chicken. They both said majority of their food was cold. But, we were all too hungry to wait for anymore food. The service was good and friendly, but being that most of the food came out cold or not really warm, that's the only reason I took off a star.

Great food, Great service, and the prices or not bad . We eat here all the time. The best sour cream anywhere.its good on there loaded baked potatoes.

Way better then expected and the service was phenomenal! We had the Red snapper and the BBQ ribs. After reading other reviews, next time I will be trying the fried green tomatoes.

Really enjoyed my meal. Excellent service. Great food. Lots of choices. Incredibly low price. Highly recommend! Feels like home.

Nice local people and good food. Way better than fast food or actually cooking. The country fried steak and burgers are amazingly good. Try it out.. and leave a $5 tip and get a surprise!

The best tasting mom and pop restaurant i've ever gone too 100%. The mozzarella sticks and homemade sauces are spectacular.
