The Crust Pizza - ParkTowne Village

Always extremely good pizza. I always switch it up. I have the meat loves which is great, the pesto chicken which is also amazing. My go to is always the bbq chicken. I really like the style of their pizza it's unique but also amazing. Oh and definitely try their special ranch.The ambiance is nothing crazy but very nice, a lot of space and definitely a place for a casual pizza.Service is always amazing and makes sure you are satisfied.

The Crust is a solid little pizza spot.When Helene came through, we were out of power and starving so we went for a drive. We stumbled upon the Crust and gave it a try. We shared the Caesar salad and still had leftovers! The salad was huge for the price and pretty fresh. We got a large pepperoni pizza to share. We also ordered a side of creamy parmesean dressing because we heard that was the way to go. The pizza was tasty but what blew me away was how greasy it was! I mean there was grease literally dripping off the pizza when I picked it it up. The small cup like pepperonis hold onto the grease which makes for a flavor bomb and a punch to the gut (and the hips). It's a family friendly pizza parlor and the prices are reasonable.

So, I was skeptical about this place. However, my pizaa was absolutely wonderful! It harkens back to old Columbus Ohio thin-crust pie. Not actually as thin as the OG, but certainly satisfyingly close. The sauce was wonderful and the pepperoni cupped like it should. So, I tend to get anchovies. It is a decent metric for the places' commitment to quality over volume. Cheap anchovies are genuinely awful. The anchovies here are spectacular! Mild and flavorful. This is what Frank Sinatra was talking about when he said his pie had anchovies and pepperonis. A fantastic ratio of the toppings and well baked.I highly recommend this place!Your mileage may vary...

I got takeout, Pizza is ok. I'm use to NY style so the cheeses they offer aren't really traditional and just don't taste right on a pizza. I got provolone cheese and wasn't that good. Cheese is also pretty rubbery in my opinion and crust seemed to be undercooked. I wouldn't say it's bad but I feel I can go to a decent Papa John's and get a better quality and better tasting pizza for sure.

Picked up. Friendly service and amazing pizza! I got the mushroom and onion, and meat lovers. It's very filling, especially if you're used to having pizza that is predominantly bread. They don't skimp on toppings! Hallelujah! The crust is thicker than NY style but fairly thin (see pics). Very tasty, not doughy or dried out. Well done!

Ok, this is a good pizza. The crust has good flavor, the sauce is nice, the topping generously done and the provolone cheese is actually quite good if different. The restaurant is very nice, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I like eating there, always a good experience However. Their pizzas are best eaten in the restaurant piping hot from the oven. They're actually fantastic eaten fresh from the oven. DO NOT GET DELIVERY, unless you have a way to reheat your order, especially Door Dash. Your once delicious pie will arrive cold and glue-like, and unlike those pizzas we all remember eating cold that seemed to get better the next day, these don't (sadly). Door Dash will ensure your pizza arrives cold a double-plus ungood situation, which is sad because these really are good pizzas 100% ruined by Door Dash.

The Crust came to Charlotte with a lot of fan fare and a reputation for delicious Midwest style pizzas. I finally made my way in recently and honestly I get what all the hype was about now. The pizzas are cut into a lot of little square pieces that are perfect for sharing. They have some of their own creations but you also have the option to customize your pizza how you see fit. Be sure to order a side of their parmesan garlic sauce as well as their hot honey. The parmesan is advertised as being similar to ranch but better and I can honestly say it is quite delicious (though ranch is hard to top). The hot honey is aptly named as it has quite a kick to it but if you don't mind some heat it is great to dunk your slices in. If pizza doesn't fill you up and you want a little extra something they also have an option of ordering a meatball for $1.50. When I went in my girlfriend ordered one, and they even brought me a complimentary one as well! There was a mixup with my order which caused it to take longer than usual. It totally happens! But the manager and my server were very apologetic and gracious about it and insisted that the comp my food. Not only is the food amazing but the people are too! I was very impressed and will certainly be returning soon.

This was by far the best pizza I've had in a very long time!! We visited this restaurant late in the evening, however that had no impact on the service or the excellent food we had!! Pizzas are loaded so bring your appetite or company to help eat it all!! We had the meat lovers pizza and the bbq chicken pizza both were so good! I loved the bbq sauce on the bbq chicken pizza- had the right amount of sweet/savory! Surprisingly the meat lovers pizza was not greasy- there was some, but not extreme. The restaurant was so clean and inviting! While we were there an employee was cleaning the light fixtures(not near patrons or around food). The decor was up to date and very appropriate. All staff that we encountered were friendly and informative. The parking is all around because it's located in the shopping center and other establishments are all around also. We will definitely be back!!

I got excited when I saw that the pizza was cut in squares like Chicago Tavern's style, thin crust, pizza, but unfortunately that's the only thing that it would have in common with Chicago style Tavern Pizza! Cardboard crust, little sauce, no good cheese, just no taste. That's Too bad.... I thought I had finally found some decent pizza in Charlotte after 25 years.! I'll keep searching. Not to mention, my server was hard to find, and when he was there, he would just ask me how is everything as he walked by my table? Couldn't even stop for three seconds. Ambience was fine and the bar scene was nice. Unfortunately, I won't be back.
