such a hidden gem in albemarle! the atmosphere is great! the waitress was super nice and helpful with explaining some thing on the menu. we ate here for valentine's day to eat local. "catch of the day" was scallops with a creamy risotto for 35$ was well worth the price. the burger was 14$ and SO good...EVERYTHING we got to eat was homemade and delicious. the only complaint was the fries were a little overdone but it didn't bother me because i like them that way! 10/10 please go try this place in downtown!!!!

Food was great, the courthouse shrimp appetizer was so good! Service was great! Perfect for a date night out and a walk downtown.

Food is great...potato soup is top 3 I have ever had. Service was awesome...Sam is the best!!! I come here often and will repeat over and over again!

Off the square has changed to The Courthouse and unfortunately it has been a change for the worse. The owner said that it was the same chef but what was the perfect filet came out raw on the inside and burnt on the out. We officially never need to go back to Albemarle. Sad.

Small little spot in town, if you ask me, a little too fancy for the place it's at. Menu was also small, and a little price. However my burger was delicious and the fries were good. Service was good, but normal, nothing too great. Check out more on my TT Tarheelfoodie828

This was a total surprise! Hungry on our way through town and stopped in with our dog. Great outdoor seating. The food and the service far exceeded our expectations! We had daily special. Good beer selection. The jalapeño chicken popper soup was delicious! Seriously-don't miss out on this gem

We ate here for the first time this weekend after church. Wow! Reasonably priced and the food and service were both Fantastic! We will most definitely be back.

hey uhh so my friend and i came in around 11:50-12:00 at lunch time, and our server came around and got our drinks but we didn't know what we wanted so we told her to come back, and she never came back..we waited for like 45 minutes but our server never waited us, and i know we should have flagged them down but i mean, 45 minutes without checking in is crazy and we were already tired of waiting and were worried the food wouldn't even be worth it, so we left a $10 bill on the table and walked out. i probably tipped them well considering we only ordered two drinks, but i couldn't care less at that point.i've heard from friends working there that the management and staff relationships aren't the best either, but this was just my experience and it makes me hesitant to come back.

A fine establishment. Food was exceptional and the ambience was incredible. Maddy, the server was so personable and the bar tender, Chris makes the best Prickly Pear Margarita I've ever had.

Outstanding restaurant with incredible service. Little hidden gem in the middle of Albemarle that hopefully not too many people find out about.
