The Courthouse Self-Pour Beer & Wine

A little piece of history and a whole lot of choices. I have a habit of calling this "Dean Place" because he is who you find behind the bar ready with a joke or a new beer recommendation. It's called the Courthouse because it's across the street from Monroe's historic courthouse. You'll find pictures of the way Monroe used to be on the walls. (it's nice that he has pieces of history on display) There are SO many choices from ciders to stouts you'll find something for everyone. Oh. Did I mention they have Prosecco on tap?If you like mimosas they have orange juice as well. It's dog-friendly as well!! The owner Dean always has some treats and pets ready. Definitely one of Monroes gems!

This is our favorite bar in Monroe. It's always impeccably clean, the owner is friendly and helpful, and the beer selection is always great.

My friends and I absolutely LOVE this place!!! We have gone here several times now and we always enjoy ourselves. Dean is the absolute best and he is always so friendly and welcoming and we love chatting with him! They have live music nights, card games, darts, and trivia nights. If you enjoy more of a lowkey vibe, you've got to check this place out. We recommend this place to all of our friends.

I love this place. The staff is always welcoming and helpful and the beer selection is fantastic. The owner knows a lot about the beers and they have such a great assortment it would be difficult not to find something for everyone! No food, just some snacks you can buy but the atmosphere is cute and there is plenty of food and food trucks in the area! They even have live music and trivia nights. Great place and easy to find parking!

This is a welcome addition to the downtown area of Monroe. The proprietor, Dean is welcoming and kind and always happy to help you understand how the Self-pour experience works. In addition, He stocks an excellent selection of beers, coders and wine. They offer live entertainment, music bingo, trivia and often join forces with the neighboring brewery to bring in food trucks from the Charlotte area. Located in one of the historic buildings directly across from the historic courthouse, the view is always fantastic and centrally located to other fine businesses in the downtown area. they are adding interesting events all the time, so make sure you check out their Facebook page to see what's going on.I highly recommend checking out the courthouse. You'll be glad you did

I absolutely love this place! The owner was very personable and willing to discuss things. There are enough options to please even the most fickle persons, even including wine in the mix!

Absolutely love the vibe . Costumer service is top notch and the choice of drinks are amazing ! This is definitely going to be a regular hang out spot to come have drinks and enjoy the Small town energy !

Incredible Wine & Beer self pour in downtown Monroe. Across from the courthouse and easy to walk around town. It was obvious the owner was present and he was very engaged in his business. Pet friendly , friendly faces and parking available. Great for self & entertaining friends. Will go again and again.
