The Club at Longview

Very nice Club, clubhouse and course but the course is much to spread out and is not walkable ...enjoyably. Fairways and greens are in great condition ( bent grass) and the homes are gorgeous.

Went to this venue for a rehearsal dinner over Labor Day weekend. Every aspect of this location was amazing, from the venue to the food. The view of the golf course pond/fountain was gorgeous from the back patio.

I was a member and lived on the course here for 6 years. The course is nice. Green and brown just like the houses. Very bland. The members are into themselves and if you live there you better find a group because they do not intermix. Very much about themselves. 3 main golf groups that do not interact with each other. Phase 3 would be the nicest of the 3 but still you will have to try to fit in to be accepted. I won the member/member my first year and you would have thought I was a stranger. These people care about 3 things. themselves, their money and how did you make your money. If you want comradery and a good golf experience in Charlotte join Ballantyne CC. What a great experience. I actually joined the last 6 months I live at Longview and had a great time. very inviting, very accommodating and very friendly.
