Had a fantastic experience at Capital Grille in Charlotte. My husband and I were celebrating our 3rd Anniversary and wanted a romantic evening out. C.G. did not disappoint! Made a reservation at 7. They called us a couple days ahead to verify reservation, asked if it was a special occasion, and explained their dress code, and that valet parking was available. We arrived a bit early and had a delicious champagne cocktail at the bar. Friendly bartenders and guests surrounded us. Very nice ambience. We were seated at our table in a timely manner. Service was excellent. I ordered the Filet with the Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad, both were out of this world! My husband had the Bone-In Ribeye and New England Clam Chowder. He raved about both.Two things were less than perfect...our table was very wide and we were sitting across from each other. Made it very difficult to talk quietly to each other. The other thing we noticed was the dress code was not being adhered to by several of the guests. Thank you for making our anniversary so special!

Fine dining always takes things to a new level! We were pleasantly greeted by many people when we arrived and the waiter was a gem. We were here for restaurant week and got the two salads, the filet Mignon with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes and tried both the cheesecake and espresso flour cake for dessert. My friend also got the stoli doli cocktail which they are known for.The field green salad was surprisingly tasty for a salad, I got the filet mignon cooked the chefs way which was a bit rarer. It was very tender and delicious. Both desserts were great but i prefer chocolate so the espresso chocolate cake was my favorite (it is also decaf). My friend didn't love the stoli doli and thought it was too strong.Overall great experience and food! Will definitely be back.

Some of the food was ok this go round but I had a really weird experience. The SA kept calling me sir and I started to feel like it was intentional after the 4th time. It made me feel awkward, I was there for a birthday dinner. Our server on the other hand was great. We did have to send back a Caesar salad. The lobster Mac and cheese is always good.

Consistently great. We go here for special occasions and they have been consistent and wonderful for the last 8 years. Steaks are delicious and service is excellent. Pricey drinks and food, but nice. I highly recommend this establishment for special celebration meals.

Came here for my birthday and was really appreciative of the service we receieved but I felt the food didn't live up to their usual caliber. I had went to the Raleigh location and was so pleased with everything I ordered but when I came here it didn't compare.I started with a salad, the one containing beets, goat cheese, and citrus vignagrette. The salad wasn't dressed enough and had too much goat cheese. My filet mignon was good but I felt the vegetables it came with weren't cooked well, they still had some toughness to them. The spinach with garlic confit was very bland, I was expecting it to be sauteed with a little more skill. And then lastly the lobster mac and cheese...horrible. This was the worst part of the meal, it seemed as if they hadn't baked it in the oven following plating it or didn't broil the top...I'm not sure but the lobster was tough and the dish wasn't very hot. I hope this was just a one time occurence due to the reputation of Capital Grille, it might just be the Charlotte location. Either way, not sure if I'd come back over choosing another elevated dining option.

Stopped in last minute. Sat at the bar, the staff was nice. The food was delicious, we enjoyed everything we ordered and the drinks were made to perfection. The bar area is large and holds a lot of people. I didn't get to see the rest of the restaurant but I'm sure it was just as beautiful as the bar area. Would definitely go back. Was so hungry and the food was so delicious that I didn't get any photos of it.

The service was amazing. The food did take a while to come out but when it did it was impeccable. The salmon had the most crispy texture on top and was moist and juicy in the inside. The calamari was also good. Our service Nicole was so kind and knowledgeable regarding the generous pour wine selection. All of the wines that were sampled paired well with our dishes. The restaurant was a little loud but it was a Friday night .

We were walk ins and completely taken care of It was my bday , they presented a card and decorative cut outs on the table The in fashion cocktail and the raspberry one were phenomenal The sea bass was cooked and served wonderfully The lobster bisque and the Mac both had great flavors and portions They reallly take care of you

I had an exquisite experience at Capital Grille. Britney was exceptional and I had top tier libations. She made the best recommendations and the meal was fantastic! Will 10/10 be back!
