The Butcher Market is a Meat Lovers' Haven! While we did not make any purchases this time, it was a,worth while visit. The variety of cuts available is astounding, and the staff is always ready to answer any questions. We were pleasantly surprised to find out about the activities they host - we happened to visit during time one was being hosted. It definitely provides a social dimension to your shopping experience. It's definitely a place to remember for future grocery trips!

I love coming to the Butcher's Market to get my fresh meat and any specialty seasoning that I might want. Every time I walk into this store I'm impressed at the selection they have. They have all kinds of fish/seafood and all kinds of meat - both marinated and non-marinated - and the prices are pretty reasonable. On the weekends they usually have some more special things (fresh Wagyu), just call ahead to make sure they have what you need.Everything is very well spaced out and organized in this store, and you can ask anyone for help and they'll direct you where you need to go. They even have rewards points to help out the frequent shoppers! I'm a big fan of the Butcher's Market and will continue to go there when I'm buying something special.

What a great place to buy fresh meat or fish. The place was packed with customers either picking up pre order food or placing an order like us. You can buy rubs, marinades, salads, sides, bread, rolls, desserts, etc. They also have frozen wild game if that is what you are into. It was unfortunate that half their store did not have power as we were not able to see any of the meat or fish on display. iI was ok we were not able to hand select our steaks or fish - the store has such a great reputation we were not too worried about what we would end up with. We decided to order 4 prime marinated NY strip and 2 tuna steaks. They make theur own naribade so we had to try it. We also wanted to try one of frozen pre-made meals so we chose the sausage and pasta with vodka sauce. While in line to checkout we saw more than a few people with trays of cinnamon buns so we had to try them as well. This is a summery of our purchased food:. The cinnamon rolls were grainy. Not smooth. I think they were old (I had to pull them from the back). The steaks had a great flavor as the marinade was really good. Three of the 4 steaks were over cooked because we were given 4 different sized steaks. 2 got burnt the third was well done....$60 wasted. The tuna was good but again they gave us one large steak and one thinner one so the smaller was was dry....another $15 wasted. If I can make any suggestion....do not make a purchase without seeing what you are buying. $136.00 later I can say I was disappointed because of the unevenness it was cooked improperly. 4 stars because the cook is partially to blame. 3 stars otherwise. The sales person is the first person that should know better than to sell meat and fish the way they did. Ruined my Christmas meal. Only 1 of us ate. :(

This is probably the best butcher in Charlotte. The one thing I wish they carried was porterhouses. The meat is pricey, but so is New York Butcher and this place is better. The prime ribeyes and strips are amazing and literally better than if you bought them at steak 48 (because you should be cooking over real, natural charcoal). The sausages and chicken are pretty good, too, and the desserts are good. Highly recommend. The prime rib burgers are also spectacular.

I have loved in Charlotte for 13 years and I cannot tell you how excited I am to talk about this place. Being from Buffalo, they carry Bison Dip, Chivettas, and Weber products. It was like being back home in any reputable butcher shop. They have a huge selections of spices and premade plates. I am making this a once a week stop for my meat. Yes, it's a little more than Teeter but I'm paying for quality, friendly service and freshness I will get. Totally recommend this place for your next cookout.

We asked for skirt steak which was not in the display case. The butcher said he had some skirt steak in the back and brought out and packaged it for us without showing the meat to us. Unfortunately, when we grilled it today, it was obviously flank steak not skirt. We will not shop here in the future as a butcher would know the clear difference between the two cuts. Buyer beware!

This place is awesome. We are new to the area and love that this is not far from our new house. The staff are friendly and they are quick to address your questions. The steak we got was so good.

The food they showed on their website was not available in the store. What we did purchase was bland.
