The Big E Gaffney

My first time at the Big E. My reason for being there was to join in the birthday celebration for my middle grandson. All I can say is WOW! So impressive! The birthday party proceeded perfectly well. All Big E staff did their jobs with care and perfection! They were all attentive to the needs of the host and seemed to really want to make this a memorable event for the birthday boy and his friends. There's eight movie screens, a full sized bowling alley, climbing and jumping activities to help keep the kids energy levels manageable. In better weather outside there's also a rather large and impressive miniature golf area. I can't believe that I've missed out on this fun place to take children to.

Fun for an afternoon. We tried out the mini golf and it was pretty fun. Not too hard for kids and pretty fun for adults. There's many arcade games, bowling, laser tag, movie theater, food and drinks as well. There's a big play land area which would be a lot of fun for kids.

While visiting family, my husband and adult children decided to go bowling at The Big E. We all had a great time. The bowling alley was a little small, but they had lanes open when we arrived. They type your name in when you pay, so there is no technology to deal with. The big E also has a nice arcade, movie theater, bumper cars, mini golf and a play land. It could provide a full days fun. We only bowled for an hour. That plus 5 shoe rentals were $50 which I feel was a fair price. It's a great place for a family outing!

This is my first and last experience here. We came to enjoy the day here and got the worst experience. We paid for 2 games of bowling and 4 shoes. With over $200 worth of food the asked us to move lanes not once but twice because they overbooked the lanes. We didn't even get to bowl and then had the nerve to have the worst attitude about the situation. 8 of us left

A fun time with my 2 yr old Grandson. He enjoyed the climbing area (for 5 yr olds and under) and all the arcade games. Make sure your little one wears socks to play in the play area. There is outdoor rope course and putt putt but it was just too hot the day we were there to do either. They have pizza- popcorn and movie concessions available to purchase. I think it would be a fun place for a child's birthday party.

My company hosts a work party here every year and I've always had a blast! As an adult, playing all the nostalgic games is so fun. I like the gigantic Pac Man and Galaga. The bumper cars are small but surprisingly joyous! Classics remind me of my childhood days at Chuck-E-Cheese. The outdoor ropes course is really fun, I loved flying through the air! There's a mini golf course, bowling, and laser tag too. The movie theatre has always been good sound and good video. The staff let's us set up early and is super helpful with food and prep. I'd recommend using them for an event if you want something fun.

Uh, why is this place SO LOUD? I understand there are a hundred kids running around but I guess the walls just push the loud screams back at you. If you're hoping to relax while you let your kids run around it's not going to happen. The play area itself is pretty fantastic for kids though. Lots of slides and tunnels for kids to run around and keep busy. I really like that there is only one small area for kids to enter and leave so you don't have to worry much about them. There's a staff member nearby to keep and eye on kids and make sure everyone is wearing their wrist band.The arcade area is pretty big with different types of games. My only issue is that the kids eventually leave the play area and want to play the arcade games. I would rather spend more money on kids running around instead of playing in the arcade, but then again that's just me. They use a card system to load tokens and to also count tickets for rewards instead of paper ones.The food is pretty limited to standard fast food with absolutely no healthy choices. Not a single vegetable or fruit to be found. It's frustrating when you have a child that's a picky eater and there's only pizza and fries to eat.The movie theater is good with comfortable seating and various times for the different movies. It's pretty standard with what most theaters are like.If you're planning on having your child's birthday party here know that you don't get a private room. They have several picnic style tables to sit at and have them reserved for a party. There have been plenty of times when different parties are side by side, with hardly any room in between.

They were accommodating with providing all the conveniences for celebrating my sons birthday. I didn't need to book months in advance. The venue was clean , the hostess showed great hospitality making sure drinks and food where available without have to asking . The pricing was great for all they provided.

I had no idea this was here! Fantastic spot for a rainy day or to take in a movie! Theater was clean and snacks were reasonably priced.The arcade was lots of fun with a variety of games and a chance to redeem a prize at the end which was a nice touch for the kids.

Fun place for the kids. Bowling stays busy. Arcade and play area can be super crowded on the weekends due to birthday parties and limited seating. Laser tag was fun.
