A beautiful place for an event. Attended my nephews wedding and everything started out well. Not well organized, everything was very rushed. The venue was booked until 10:30 but they were clearing tables by 7:30. Coffee was taken away before desert was served. Cupcakes were provided instead of wedding cake by the wedding party but if you placed a cupcake on the table and went to dance or looked away for a bit, they were thrown out. If you book here be prepared.

Before Booking, I didn't see the reviews of the venue. Please save yourself the stress and the depression that follows. The venue is very beautiful but not worth dealing with Brian. We were set to say our I Do's! In October 31,2020, But COVID hit and was unable to get married. I booked the entire Venue with a large deposit. Brian refused to book a different date for the following fall. Per Brian we could only book from his dates that consisted of January- March 2021 for a wedding over 300 guest and not to mention we were still in lockdown and would be breaking state regulations. We took Brian to court won, Half of the deposit back but until now we have not received a dime.Dalia Trujillo

I hate writing bad reviews, but this really needs to be said. The location is beautiful. The people are not. Kim and Brian are thieves and manipulative liars. We bought beer and wine from Brian and hardly anyone at the wedding was drinking beer and wine because my husband bought liquor. My husband just wanted to be done with that place after all the confusion and arguments so he did not confront Brian about it when he saw tons of beer and wine in the locked cooler. We were told numerous times by Kim that we would receive any unused beer and wine back. We did not. We were also told by Kim that the bar tab would be MUCH cheaper and she slipped in a paper when I was signing other agreements over drinks that had tons of fees, etc. We also had 5 different cards go missing. We had a very small wedding because of covid and it was only family and the closest of friends present. It was not my guests, that's for sure. Kim also told the DJ to skip the father/daughter dance AND the garter toss. Those are once in a lifetime chances... GONE. I was so upset. I'm unsure why I was not asked about this. I thought it was being pushed back or something, but it was too late by the time I realized what happened. We were told numerous times about tipping (which we did) and were given tons of fake sob stories and it was just a really uncomfortable situation.

The wedding venue was beautiful! Plenty of room for the guests to move. The staff was very helpful and available for the little things. We would highly recommend.

Save yourself the stress. The venue is beautiful. Is it worth the headaches the owner, Brian Moerman, brings on your wedding day and the months after trying to get your deposit back? Not a chance. Mr. Moerman was extremely easy to work with right up until all of our money was paid. After that good luck getting a phone call, text, or email response. Flexibility is over and ridiculous last minute day of wedding changes are what you are left with. Not to mention chasing him down for months attempting to get your deposit back after he makes false claims of damages (he won't show pictures or give specifics-just that you won't be getting your full deposit back). When you do receive your partial deposit back he cancels payment on it. We are now 4 months out and still working on that-next step BBB and small claims court. Mr. Moerman is one of the rudest and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I wish I would have read the reviews and talked to more people before we booked here. This tends to be the normal. Reviews he has since removed from their Facebook page...notice how you can no longer rate them with a star rating or leave a review? Yeah-they were that bad. The place is completely overpriced for what you receive in the end. I should have listened to some of the vendors who had worked with him in the past-they were trying to give us clues that we didn't see until it was too late. Beautiful venue but Brian Moerman, the owner, was full of empty promises. During our walk-thru's I asked specific questions about the venue - is there lighting at the pond, do the speakers work outside, do you provide a video screen, is there wifi, can the TV's be put on a loop, etc etc. I have worked many events in the past and I know exactly what functions are critical to my events success. Brian promised everything was available and would be handled. In the days leading up to the event, he re-confirmed all was good. And then during the event when we realized the speakers weren't on outside, he said there are no speakers outside. There was no wifi. The TV's didn't work properly and one by one, the basic items I planned to use that night were not an option. After the event, in his unprofessional manner, he told me I never asked for those things and that they were all available!! He is by far the most unprofessional person I have worked with at an event location in 10 years of event planning. People gave me hints about him but I didn't put it all together until it was too late. I have never put a negative review online before... I just hope this prevents someone from having to deal with the stress and event-night disappointments that I did.
