Thailand Restaurant

OK food, but not what you expect from a Thai menu. Thai food is known for sharp flavors, spice, and heat from the stove top.We were disappointed in all three of these aspects.The service was fine, and the shop itself was comfortable and well lit. But if you are a restaurant and the flavors are not distinctive...nothing else will save you.Sorry folks.

After a Yelp friend recommended this place, we drove by and decided to turn around and go to dinner. Three of us were all pleased with our selections and enjoyed a brief conversation with the owner on the way out the door. We all agree that we will return another time in the future! Thanks for dinner!

The food was loaded with flavor. I got the mushroom stir fry with beef and spicy chicken fried rice, also the steamed dumplings. Everything was great. Will be back next time I'm in the Columbia area.

We have been trying to find good Pad Thai since we moved to Columbia. We found ourselves in the Lexington area during dinner time and ordered two shrimp pad thai for pick up. When I walked in, the space was clean and the man at the counter was so friendly! Our pad thai did not disappoint, it was the best we've had in Columbia and the portions were great - we both had leftovers for the next day. 10/10 will be returning!

Came here yesterday for lunch and it wasn't the best to honest pad Thai was good dumplings were good boba tea was flavorless and tasted watery. Also tried the fresh spring rolls the lettuce tasted old like it has been sitting in fridge uncovered for a few days now

My favorite place in town! I've tried a lot and my must haves include... thank me later! Been coming since 2008 lol. Mao provides the best service always and they keep the place clean and inviting. Love the food here, but don't expect much of an atmosphere! Simple and good. That's what I want in a restaurant.

This has to be one of the best Thai restaurants in Colimbia and if I ever win the lotto, I'm buying them a major renovation. The actual restaurant is falling apart, especially the exterior. If it wasn't for one of my friends who dragged me in, I would've avoided the place. Glad he dragged me in though. The place seems to be mostly a door dash haven. It's rare to have very many people inside. Now i am very picky with my Thai food and have been completely spoiled from my time living in Tokyo so i am extremely jaded as quality over quantity is paramount there. The food is legit though and the inside isn't nearly as bad as the outside.. i was absolutely tickled. This place is on my top 5 Cola restaurants.

Food was delicious and decent sized portions, my family got the dinner sized portions of: spicy pad Thaishrimp pad se-ewchicken pad se-ewhouse fried ricebeef pad ThaiI'll say, I was happy with the results and my family will be coming back for more.The establishment is ran by a very friendly elderly couple, the husband works in the kitchen and the wife works the front of the house (taking orders, filling drinks, cleaning up, taking phone orders, etc)So just keep this in mind when it starts to get busy or they might not answer the phone right away, it's just the two of them. Be kind and respectful, most people don't know what it's like working in the food industry, especially running a restaurant business. So from one former restaurant manager to another, best of luck.

Amazing food! Super authentic. The owner is so nice and offers great service. We will be going back again
