Textile Lanes

Great no frills bowling alley. Went with a group of 6 at 730 on a Saturday and was able to get a lane without having to wait. Only downside I can say was they closed at 9pm that evening and shut down some of the arcade/billiards around 8:30 which seems incredibly early for a bowling alley on a Saturday. I can't complain about anything else. Staff was friendly and the alley was clean. Will be back!

Honestly, what a hidden gem! Simple, no frills bowling alley with a decent kitchen. I'm sad I've lived near here for almost four years before checking it out. It was a rainy Saturday and we had family in town- with kids of mixed ages - so what do you do? Bowl! Textile lanes is kind of a step back in time, but in a good way, still the "old fashioned" (I'm a late 80's kid, so the bowling computers I remember) set up. Everyone there was super friendly and we were able to get a lane right away. We also go snacks at the grill - their fried pickles could compete with any establishment - along with the their green beans. My niece got the soup, and I'm pretty sure it was a whole can of Campbells chicken noodle, but what's not to love about the nostalgia of that. We will certainly be back!

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to get a couple of games in. There were a few parties in the restaurant and maybe a third of the lanes were in use. Textile is a small alley - only 16 lanes.Customer service at the reataurant and the front desk was solid. Prices were reasonable. Restrooms were clean and stocked. Lanes were good, pins did not fall like I was hoping.I will come back, but not on a weeknight because it's all league bowling weeknights at Textile.

Very fun activity on a hot summer day in Gaston County. We had a great time. The diner was excellent. I noticed a lot of other reviews showed disappointment that there was no beer. I did not even notice the lack of this. This the place to take the grandkids & eat, too! Love it!

Great little place to pick up a couple lines at a reasonable price. Fun little alley west of everywhere but easy to find and right off the interstate!Cute little snack shop up front looks like it serves standard alley fare and justifies the druggist on the other side. Didn't see a menu-board but I wasn't looking real hard either, needed a cool drink of water more than anything else so I went and got my sippy cup out of the little white truck.Frames are a bargain at $0.40 each in packs of ten but does not include shoes. The sixteen lanes are in good condition and well maintained; pins look clean and current; hand dryers on the ball return rack is a nice touch but the returns themselves are hidden. Each lane seats four and has a small table for snacks and beverages.Aside from entering your bowling name and actually starting the game the score keeping is automatic. Overhead TVs have basic graphics for score keeping and briefly show the preferred "shot" to pick up your garbage. I'm not sure if print outs are available as keepsakes but I'd be willing to drop fifty cents to have a PDF of the day's events sent to my phone. It's the 21st century, surely this can be done!!

Great fun! Old school bowling with a grill. No beer though :-( The guys are all super nice. Easy to make a reservation. Will 100% be back.

Awesome place to grab a variety of food. Breakfast lunch and dinner all at a the bowling alley. The service was very spectacular. The chef does an amazing job. Good size portions and comes out fresh and hot. Pecan pie is delicious. Great place for a date night and family outing. Thank you to the left handed chef and server on duty.

Great food. Tons of options to choose from. My go to is either their delicious cheese burger or egg salad sandwich. The fries are always crispy and warm. Sweat tea is on point too. Would recommend this place to family and friends looking for a casual place to eat and maybe bowl a game too!

Had never visited the establishment. Was told they had billiards tables, so I stopped in to check them out. At a glance, I wouldn't waste my time on a table where the felt was as slick as the tile it set upon.

I told the old guy at the front desk who is apparently the manager, That the ball return was damaging my ball, leaving scratches and cracks and that I didn't have a problem with it I just wanted him to fix the issue and switch me to another lane. He proceeded to be rude and tell me well that's not my problem, and that if I wanted to have a brand new ball that I needed to put my bowling balls on a shelf and stop bowling. The way that he took care of the situation was very poor and he should think about retiring within the next week. Do better and show respect to the people who are still keeping your business alive because you won't be for long.
