If you're craving delicious Tex-Mex food, this is the place for you!A fantastic little hole-in-the-wall spot with amazing food! I've previously had the Southwest Burrito, and on this trip I had the Fajita Chimichanga (pictured). Both items really hit the spot! The food is very reasonably priced for the portion size. And the service is always top-notch! The first time I went, the owner was at the register to take my order and also brought my food out, and she could be used as the perfect example of proper customer service! Very friendly and helpful! And on this most recent trip, my server was every bit as nice and friendly!While the seating inside is limited (the part of the building that Tex-Mex Back Road Grill is located in isn't very large), there's also covered seating outside. The parking lot is also a little cramped, but don't let that deter you from enjoying this incredible spot!

I can't say enough amazing things about this place. Let me just tell you that the food is incredible and always consistent. But more so the people who run it. You can just tell they actually care and as someone who has worked in the industry for years, it's SO APPRECIATED!! From the tacos to the burgers and my personal favorite probably the wings, you can't go wrong. Extremely affordable. I have never met more hard-working amazing people in my whole life. Me and my husband go there at least twice a week! Elisha, and Olivia and the rest of the team are the BEST!!!

Only the sausage and fresh fruit were good. This is the 1st restaurant I've ever known to mess up pancakes (undercooked). The home fries were frozen and terrible. They didn't cook my hub's eggs right. Tiny restaurant and I felt claustrophobic. Service wasn't great either. Tacky, cheesy Mexican decorations. Worst restaurant we've eaten in Gastonia.
