This is a review for the 9 hole Cove Golf Course.I really like this course a lot.It has very reachable Par 4's and nice Par 3's.Check out the score card photo. If you played the regulation 18 hole course, you know about the elevation changes and the elevated tee-boxes. This course has several of those and water comes into play on 3 holes. The Par 3's are are excellent as well and you get 2 back to back on the 7th & 8th hole. This course is a lot of fun. I played it in 1 hour and 15 minutes on a Monday as there was no one in front of me.Make sure you grab a score card in the Pro Shop as there are no distances on the signs by the tee boxes. The course in great condition right now in April 2021. The greens are rolling true and the tee boxes are in great shape. The best part is the $22 weekday rare with a cart, you just can't beat it with a course of this caliber.Once you finish your round, go to the outside deck and order some great food from the Shore Club, just an excellent all around experience!

First time playing Tega Cay and I have to say I enjoyed it. The course was in good condition, the check-in process was quick and friendly, the cost was a little high $60 for a weekday with cart, the electric golf cart was in good condition and quite "zippy" as someone else noted, and the course is a good challenge. Being a weekday, it wasn't busy, but we did have two twosomes behind us that caught up to us on the back nine, so the comments about combining groups is valid. It wasn't a problem as we played a comfortable pace that didn't hold up the groups, but we were aware that they were there. Having the score card was a must for knowing the yardage. They do have 200, 150 and 100 yard markers in the fairways. I do wish the signs had the yardage on them. Overall a good course and I would definitely go back there.

Course was in pretty good shape a little on the pricey side compared to other courses in the area . Was really disappointed that they didn't have a Starter or Marshall it got backed up after the 1st hole with 3 singles behind our group on us and couldn't let them play through because we had 2 foursomes ahead of us a Marshall would have paired them up and things would have went smoother . At the turn went to grab some food and the snack shack and they said they didn't make any sandwiches today even though it was busy out there they had absolutely no good except chips ! Played here a few dozen times in the past and it's never been this bad .

If I could give a lower rating than one star I would. Consistently anti customer with rude and indifferent staff. The last two times on the first tee box we were scolded in advance about being cart path only. As two regular golfers we are aware of course etiquette and respecting course conditions and superintendent. But ok. Today we arrived to dry conditions but were told that they received six inches of rain this week (untrue) and it was cart path only. Ok. It's your golf course. We'll stay on the cart path. As we played the course we found that the fairways were dry and firm. Ok. It's their golf course. We'll stay on the cart path. My buddy wanted to let the GM know via phone from the ninth hole that it shouldn't be cart path only, that surrounding courses were not CPO. He had the phone on speaker and the GM offered a rain check for next time. The course marshal approached us aggressively on the 11th hole and jumped out of the cart and began yelling at us for complaining. We yelled back. It was ugly plain and simple. This behavior by the staff is representative of their typical rudeness and indifference. We will never ever play this course again. We should not be treated like this. This was the second round in a row where their anti customer service behavior was on full display. I've golfed all over North America and have never had this happen. Do not, I repeat, do not play this course. However, play this course if you:- Enjoy being treated like a prisoner in a penitentiary- Love having course marshals scold you before your first swing on the first tee- Enjoy playing poor quality greens- Appreciate having a business treat you like they're doing you a favor by taking your money and allowing you to play. If so, make a tee time today. Only $70 on weekends.

Why can't this place have a pool? The memberships can be golf or tennis/swim. Or all three! It would be awesome if they had a pool again!!! What can we do as a community to possibly make this happen? I heard they had a pool a long time ago. They have a great food, bar etc! Adding a pool would make it a wonderful place!

The course is very nice. when we were returning the golf cart the man looked at us and very rudely said who did you get permission from to get this cart, and we explained just golf and he was very rude. The Atmosphere that this older middle-aged man gave was ridiculous and demeaning.
