Teal Seafood

Freshest seafood in the most unexpected locale. The outside (and inside) are very hole in the wall, but again, the seafood and value for what you get make this so worth a side trip. Highly recommended.

It's a jewel of a restaurant/fish market with some rough edges. But don't pass this place up. They have lots of old time favorite beverages along with a few new ones all in bottles, cans, or glass. They have fresh fish, not very big, but a wide selection. If you want they will cook the fish for you, so you don't have to cook them at home. Burgers are amazing, fish, oyster, and other choices with or without fries are available too. Ask if you must, if they have any home made cake. Cake is sold by the slice. I took mine to go and enjoyed it later. I had the strawberry shortcake which along with my Teal Burger were definitely a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. The ketchup bottle and other table condiments were a little sticky, but I easily overlooked them as the food was the best.

The food here is amazing. We asked some locals where to eat and they told us about this place. Family owned since 1961, very fresh seafood on ice, u choose and they cook it. So so good

The best seafood from here to the ocean!Atmosphere is old neighborhood variety store. A little off the beaten path. Open at the end of the week only and closes early.Go and find it, promise you'll be glad you did.We love the shrimp, scallops and catfish nuggets.Fresh fish on ice, cooked when you order, hot, fresh and seasoned perfectly. Fries, onion rings, even the cole slaw is yummy.The Teal burgers are legendary.Customers and employees are so welcoming; you feel like family. Just like eating at Grandma's house.

Good food good people! The Teal's burger is by far one of my favorite burgers around!

We stopped at Teals Fish Market today to get fish sandwiches for lunch and they were delicious. They were cooked perfect and had a wonderful seasoning. We will definitely be going back.

Lived in cheraw for approximately one year. This was by far the best place to eat in town. Fresh fish on ice to pick out and fry up in the kitchen. The teal burger is a must, huge burger and very flavorful.
