Taxco Mexican Grill

Just a good, quick Mexican dinner. They had a beer special, open bar seating and everyone we interacted with was nice. I got a cheese quesadilla and I loved the crunch of the tortilla and melty-ness of the cheese.

My friend and I decided to eat at this place as our original place we decided upon was closed. She has been here several times and loves it. This was my first time, and on a Friday night, we were surprised to see that there was no wait. Now I don't eat dinner usually so I just tagged a long and ordered a glass of wine. Place was like any normal Mexican restaurant. I'm pretty spacious with a lot of seating options. All the servers and employees were super friendly, and the service was great. I ended up ordering their wings, but I will say I was not a fan. They were very crispy, and some parts burnt, so I'm not a huge fan, but now I know for next time. Overall, I will probably come again during lunch and especially since it is super close to my house.

This used to be our go to Mexican Restaurant, but having visited several times in this past year the food is not the same. If a nursing home and a Mexican restaurant combined talents I am sure that the product would be better than this. Unseasoned totopas ( chips) Salsa that is more like tomato puree. Watery and unseasoned Chile PoblanoUnseasoned beef in the burrito, sauce with soul. When the rice and beans are the best thing on the plate you really have to question the quality of the preparation. Sadly we will not be back.

Taxco is a wonderful lunch time option! I ComeHere often during the work week for lunch and find the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Salsa is the right consistency, service is quick and they have a many lunch time specials, most for under $10! Great ACP and steak fajitas!

Great margaritas! This is very classic mexican food. The flag taquitos is one of my fave dishes by far. It's three taquitos one with red sauce, queso, and Verde salsa. The steak tacos are also amazing. Fresh chips and salsa stays stocked!

One of the many Mexican choices on the east side of Charlotte. I've been here a couple times before and haven't had any complaints. The menu is pretty much your typical Mexican restaurant menu. They have lunch specials sizes that you can order and are pretty filling as well. Just make sure you specify you want the lunch special because they won't ask most likely. They're clean and fast the times I've ordered.

I work 3rd shift and Taxaco stays open late enough for me to grab dinner for the night. The food is always fresh. I ordered the Burrito Supremo.(Chicken) It comes w/rice or beans. The rice is so soft, fluffy and flavorful. The chicken in the burrito is also perfectly seasoned. The meal is so filling! My dinner also came with chips and salsa. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant has welcoming feeling. The ambiance is great for a night out or a family gathering. Definitely a 10/10 I would recommend.

Excellent service. Full menu with many choices. Food was very flavorful with large portions. This may become our favorite Mexican restaurant. We will definitely try it again. Highly recommended.
