My Dad taught me from my youth to judge a restaurant first by the number of vehicles in their parking lot and not by the appearance of the building. Well, this place is hopping and for all the right reasons.After finding a place to park, we were greeted by warm and smiling people, seated promptly, and enthusiastically waited on. Great selections, reasonable prices, and fantastic service. What's not to like? Oh, yea, the food is great, too!We've tried various entrees and cannot name a winner. Their Chicken Mole--I mean holy mole--is fantastic. Then I tried their Chori-Pollo, a dish with seared chicken and chorizo sausage. I'm dancing around the table as happy music is played overhead. So. Damn. Good.Monroe has a plethora of Mexican restaurants, of which a few are good. I think this little family-owned place, however, takes the prize. Has my "Give 'em a Whirl" meter twirling in circles to the Mexican Hat Dance. No brainier. Go here.

This is the VERY BEST MEXICAN FOOD I have had since moving to the South from Southern CA! Chili Rellenos are amazing! Pico de gallo is the best I've EVER had! Oh and their flour tortillas are made here and are fabulous!

The reviews definitely don't lie. The food here was more authentic than most, and very flavorful at a reasonable price. I ordered the burrito Taxi. It was large enough for two meals and definitely priced right. I can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu. Very good experience.

Excellent all around experience. Service was fast and friendly. Food was outstanding! Cheese dip was great. Quesadillas and rice were excellent! Well worth the visit. Will be back next time we're in town.

So glad we found this place after driving looking for something to eat for lunch. I love Mexican food and when it's prepared authentically I'm overjoyed. Delicious food and attentive service. We ordered the lunch burrito Mexicanos and Chicken fajitas. Muy bueno!

This place is amazing! Absolutely the best Mexican food in Monroe is right here. If you like spice, be sure to say yes to the spicy salsa. My wife buys a quart every time she goes to Tennessee to visit her mom. It's the best really hot salsa I've had at a restaurant.The service is great. The staff is all very friendly and happy to help with special requests. The ambience is family friendly, cozy. It's a pretty small space, although they have recently expanded to add more dining area. It's definitely worth the time and effort to get here and try this place. It's our favorite.

The food is so good. Best Mexican food I have had in this area since moving from San Antonio, TX. I had the Chili Relleno lunch plate. The tortilla's flour and corn are handmade. I plan to come here often! The service was good!

Very good, when you get the right servers. If you get the wrong server, expect a pretty unpleasant experience of miscommunication and inconsistency in your order. I absolutely love this place when they are firing on all cylinders. They need to desperately work on training and consistency in regards to assisting their non-Hispanic customers that can't communicate with some of the servers. When things go well, the food is 5 stars, when they don't it's a 2 star experience. Very cute/clean restaurant in an unassuming tiny strip mall.

This place is exceptional, and a real gem. You have to try it. I wish we could keep it to ourselves. The food is delicious and the whole staff is super nice with amazing customer service. We always order takeout and they have so many delicious options. The pork tamales actually come wet with sauce/cheese on them and they were delicious. The agua frescas and many other items are all homemade from scratch. The dine-in experience seemed to be very nice as well, with many customers choosing to eat there instead. We will definitely be back soon. We are from California and it's been challenging to find authentic Mexican food like the taquerias back home. This place definitely delivers.
