Always a great selection of beers on both tap and in cans. The bartenders are friendly and it always is a good atmosphere at tap it. If you follow there Facebook, you can see upcoming events such at live music, trivia, food trucks, etc. Def a place to check out when your in the area

Nice place. Friendly bartenders, lots of brews on tap and a menu of combinations...many very clever.Located just shy of Sun City, approaching from the south. From the north, just past Sun City on the left, in a strip shopping location.Came in on an ad that there would be lobster. Sounded good to me, so came in. Dinner time.It turned out to be Cousin's Maine Lobster food truck parked at the end of the parking lot. Dutifully I got my lobster roll and just about fell over when I paid $17.95 + $1.57 tax. Couple that with the two $5 beers I had eating it at Tap It and, to me, that was a pretty expensive meal.Lobster was good and the portion adequate. Tried to do a review on the lobster truck but not on Yelp! Did enjoy Tap It. Women and men there and neatly dressed. Not a dive bar.Their combinations of beers are worth more investigation so bring a group to try some of them.

Everything I read about this place is spot on. Great staff, great beer selection, great atmosphere. Wife and I went to Friday music bingo and it was so much fun. I found my go to waterhole.

I love Tap It! They have a great selection of taps, cans and bottles. There are new things to try each week. The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is totally laid back, and it's family-friendly, too. Music Bingo on Fridays is the best!

Nice spot! You may miss if it you are speeding down Johnston road, but it is tucked away in an unassuming business strip. Large bar and a smattering of tables, this spot is bringing the craft beer to the masses. With everyone relocating over here (Sun City retirement, Indian Land, etc) it's a little hard to find a watering hole with how spoiled Charlotte has been with the brewery renaissance. It was only a matter of time before a place like this opened up - it really reminds me of the first Beer Temple (Matthews). Friendly faces, a couple of tvs, and plenty of rotating taps. The staff was super welcoming and you also get some complementary snacks (chex mix and popcorn) while you are sippin' on your beverages. If you are an UNTAPPed user, there's a tv with a live social media screen that keeps track of your check ins.While we were sitting at the bar, a lot of people came in and seemed like regulars (known on a first name basis), but there were also newbies like myself where the bar tender was helping with samples and steering them in the direction of a beer that would suit their fancy.

Great selection on Tap and now, Walker's Kombuchas ! Nice addition! Plus this Family Owned business saves all the tabs off cans for donation to programs who turn them into helping people !

We went here with a bunch of friends for music trivia night and gad a blast! The beer was great and appreciated the staff helping select the right ones fir your tastes. We will be back!
