This truck moved to the Lowe's parking lot. We tried them again, the prices went up, taste went down and the tortillas were hard and chewy. I am a glutton for tacos and apparently I haven't learned from past disappointments...

Denver / Stanley is looking up for Mexican food. We have a street taco truck and what flavor. I stopped last week after seeing about 15 workers having lunch. They set up picnic tables in front of the Mexican grocery. Got carne asada (steak), chicken, lengua (beef tongue) tacos with tamales. They tacos were full of flavor as you would expect with authentic Mexican food. The tamales were freshly made and wrapped in banana leaves, just like you would eat in Southern Mexico, and not like the tasteless smoother in sauce you find in the other Mexican places. The sauces green and red were fresh with a good consistency, not liquid like you see in Mexican restaurants. The red was So Good! It was hotter than jalepeno but not as hot as habaneroPrices were very good as you would expect with construction workers eating here. Hours are 9 am to 9pm.

This place was recommended to me on my quest to find tamales wrapped in banana leaf. I called ahead just to make sure they had some available since it's a 20 minute drive each way for me. I ordered 2 steak tacos and 8 tamales (4 for $10). The steak tacos were stuffed full on a single tortilla. My 3 year old ate both of them and said they were delicious. The tamale was filled with chicken and had a nice spice to them. They were moist and flavorful. Hidden gem!

Had a great meal from Tony's. Whole family enjoyed a spread of the Pollo, Pastor, Asada and BBQ beef tacos and tried some of quesadillas (chicken and cheese). If you like street tacos you'll love Tony's.

I love real Mexican food. I've driven bt this taco truck a hundred times, today I finally stopped for tacos. I saw the prices and got back into my car and drive on. They wanted $3.25 for one tiny taco. It's cheaper at a restaurant. Good lord 3.25 for one taco. No wonder the parking lot is always empty. Next time you want some tacos just keep on driving by this place unless you want to spend 10 bucks for three little tacos....

I often purchase tacos from Tony in Troutman. They are one of my favorite meals. Tony also came out to Daveste Vineyards during their St Patrick's Day festival. Thank you for offering delicious options to choose from!

The tacos are excellent. There's absolutely no doubt about that. Authentic feel and well worth the drive every now and then. The food is just way too expensive, which is why I took a star off my rating. At $3 per taco, it's not an every day or even every week stop which is unfortunate. I would be here a few times per week if the food was more reasonably priced.
