Taco and Tequila Mexican Restaurant

Taco is a staple in Lincolnton. It has been here for years and is part of the Gaston family of restaurants called La Fuete. The building is nice and large with plenty of space, and on my last visit was very clean. Lucy runs a great business and service is always good.One thing T&T prides itself on is its use of fresh ingredients. Everything is made in house and is always consistent.We love this place!

The Sunday buffet for $12.95 for adults is solid. You get chips and salsa for the table. There's a make-your-own-taco and taco salad option. You also can choose from quesadillas, burritos, chimichangas, sopapillas, rice, beans and other options. Price doesn't include a drink. Plenty of seating and parking. Wasn't too crazy from 12-1 when we were there. Buffet is 12 pm to 2 pm on Sundays only.

The food here good. The issue we have is with the service. On one visit the waiter took our order while we were seated in a booth but he was standing at the register in the main dining room. So we had to raise our voice a bit to place our order. He was also a bit sarcastic. He did not return to check on drink refills, instead we had to ask for them. So overall this isn't our favorite Mexican restaurant in town.

This is the worst service EVER! Me and my friend came here about 9 after work and they were not busy at all, they got our drinks and chips and salsa and it took them over 20 mins too take our order!!! But remind you we have been sitting here for over 20 mins and the couple behind us, came in after us! They got their order first and all the waitresses walked by us like we have already ate or something!! I definitely don't recommend this restaurant!! Also I wish I could give this place negative stars!!

I love their street tacos pretty tasty sauce it has with it. Carne Asada tacos are what I GET ALSO LIKE THEIR chimichangas with their own hot sauce. Great service and descent prices.

This is our go to for Mexican night out with the family. The food is always consistent in flavor, portion size and temperature. The waiting staff are very friendly and aim to please. The bar is a plus and separate from the family dining area.

Great food,and great service..Best toco salad I ever had.The place was very clean and neat. The Next time you want Mexican food from a quality place to sit down with family or a date I recommend it.

Went there once, will never go back.........UGH...............drink was terrible nothing but triple sec and the food........enough said..........
