Finally made it to Swirl. For a restaurant that has precooked cupcakes, ready to make, I was thinking they would be dried out. I was wrong. The moistness of the cupcakes was outstanding.1. Roxy - crushed Oreos make everything better. That first bite was everything.2. Alice - I'm beginning to love any cake item with a raspberry drizzle. The lemon cream cheese icing on top of the fluffy vanilla cupcake will be added to my Top 5 from #Swirl list.3. Oatmeal raisin cookie - not as soft as I like but it was still good. Love this place for a quick sweet treat! Service is always fabulous and the food is fresh. Usually we just take it to go since the seating area is not the best. Server made my ice cream scoop into a smiley face without me asking which was so sweet!

What's cool about swirl is that you can fully customize your dessert. All of the ingredients are fresh and I really like their soft serve. Although there was a line, the service was also pretty quick.

We went for the ice cream but also got some cookies.So glad I did as the cookies are arguably the best cookies I have ever had.We got the brownie cookies and the chocolate chunk cookies. I cannot overstate how good these cookies are.The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful as we were first timers.My wife and son got The "Duke". Vanilla ice cream mixed with cookie dough, brownie and caramel sauce. I snuck a taste as well. Absolutely amazing.I got the Midnight - chocolate ice cream, with brownie, oreo's and chocolate sauce. If you like chocolate (who doesn't?) this is the one to get! So darn good.Highly recommend.Hope they open another location down here in York County!

Visiting from out of town. Found this place on Instagram. So many dessert options, everything looked delicious. I see what the hype is about. Service was great and ambiance was nice.

Well I was greeted as I walked in the door and I couldn't miss the door done it's snazzy and colorful entrance. You can't miss the very pink tables out front and the second you open the door the glorious smells of fresh baked cookies and sweets hits you hard and fast. The glands begin to salivate with true desire to consume. And the treats I ordered were fun to watch being made right in front of me. I got a cupcake and an ice cream treat the ice cream called the Shorty. The cupcake the Roxy. The shorty was a nickname of mine growing up. And they taste amazing. Yeah I know who wants two deserts. This man wants two deserts and I enjoyed every delicious morsel. If you get to southside Charlotte add this to a must go to spot for your sugar rush.

Where are the chips? Ordered chocolate chip and oatmeal, lack of actual chips, heavy oversized filled with nothing

Swirl is the ultimate Indulge spot! I recently went and made Christmas cupcakes and it was such a delightful experience. The cupcakes were moist and flavorful. The topping/icing selection was awesome, featuring unique and classic flavors to mix & match. You can create your own spin on everything--cookies cupcakes and icecream creations! Their ice cream is bomb! This it a must-visit for dessert enthusiasts.

Brought the nibblings and my father for a cool treat. Now sure if there is parking on the lower level for quick in and out visits but we entered into the garage and parked. I did get my parking ticket validated but I forgot and has to go back. Once inside the space is a little bigger than the other location. They have the same high stools and table lining the wall. We couldn't decide so we got several things. My niece decided on the Pick me up shake but we definitely replaced the coffee powder with marshmallows. She loved it but in true kid style didn't finish it! It was a lot of shake for a small person. We got my go to the vanilla ice cream with Oreos, M&Ms and caramel. We also got a 4 pack of cookies. I went with the seasonal option lemon blueberry, my dad got the oatmeal raisin and both the nibblings got rainbow sprinkle. The cookies are huge and they are on the more dry side than chewy side. Our visit to Swirl was just ok, mostly because of the service. It's a fairly small shop and they apparently didn't see nor hear us when we entered. When we asked questions, the staff members were a little short with us and offered no recommendations. The actual menu was pretty good. They offer a mix of cupcakes, cookies, and ice cream. The also have tons of topping options. We got their small ice cream with all the toppings we could stand. We also tried a few of their cookies which are pretty big in size. Overall a decent visit.
