Yes! 5 stars over and over! Such a great family friendly place! Sweetwater has a variety of animals such as horses, chickens, and pigs. The animals are healthy and happy. There are piles of hay left out for kids to feed the horses and also a hand washing station near the barn. There are tons of toys peppered throughout. The toy lawnmowers were a big hit with my group. There are many wagons available for anyone to use. Many picnic tables make sitting down for lunch easy. There is a shaded sandpit with rocking chairs around it for the adults to relax. There is a little stream of water for kids to play in as well. Plenty of parking and lovely staff. It was $7/adult and kids under 2 are free.

This place is AMAZING! It makes for an extremely affordable, fun day! Animals, sand pit, stream, swings, basketball, garden, ride on toys, wagons, the list goes on! There's also a farm shop and food cart to grab a coffee and some treats! We got a season pass and go about once a week. Such a wonderful place! There is a 3 star review on here from a GROWN man claiming he was harassed by a CHILD. It's disgusting that a father would write such things about a child. I've met said child and he is a very sweet boy that loves his farm and all the kids that come to play. That man should be ashamed of himself.

Took my son to pick strawberries and he had lots a fun there's animals on one side and the strawberry farm of the other. In the middle there's basically mud piles and fun things for kids to do. Definitely be prepared to get dirty & bring extra clothes for your child. Lots of fun.

Plenty of playground space and a cute little cafe. Animals of which was the reason we went. Great lemonade and some homemade goodies. They were planting strawberries for next season while we were there. Nice staff. My little NK enjoyed her time there.

This is an adorable and educational farm! This is definitely a place to take small kids. I visited on an open farm day, where they encourage families to take a picnic and enjoy the farm space. They have multiple swings set up and you can freely roam the vegetable garden, the horse stable, and pass by the chicken coop, goat run, and cow pasture. We fed the three horses, and they were super sweet! This place is just a stones throw down the street in Huntersville, and has a large gravel parking lot. Their website says they have camp programming, but at the very least I recommend their monthly open farm days! I'd check the website for more details.

We had such a fun Saturday afternoon at Sweetwater farms with our nephew! Lovely, clean farm perfect for kids. It was $4 per ticket for a two hour time slot, we visited on 6/13/20. In addition to horses, a cow, goats, pigs, and chickens there was also an awesome kids obstacle course! Would highly recommend this place right off of beauties ford road in Huntersville. We will definitely be back. Lots of parking, restrooms and hand washing station.

We had our grandkids (2 and 3 years old) for the weekend. Our oldest is very interested in animals so a visit to a local farm was added to our fun. The reviews for sweetwater farms sounded just our speed so off we went on a Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, other than the very friendly staff and other families, the visit was not what we expected. We expected more animals than the few areas of 2 pigs, horses, 1 rooster coop, and maybe one other animal area. The toy area had a big selection of options that included push toys, tricycles, doll houses, etc. but it was not something I can recommend using because every toy was covered in thick dirt. It was the always left outside, never cleaned or washed off type of dirt. The grands definitely enjoyed the visit but I was expecting more. While not expensive at $7 per person, it felt like what should have been a free spot or $2 per person. We were in and out in 15 minutes with promises to the kids for the next fun stop.

I can't believe I'm actually taking the time to write this. I hope it does some good. Me and my 2 year old son were somewhat harassed by The 11-12 year old son of the owner. At least, he kept saying his mom owned the place. He seemed to be everywhere my son was telling us we couldn't make monster noises (while playing) or we couldn't be on top of the play set with the slide bc it was too many people. Beware!!!
