The second my boyfriend and I walked through the door we felt welcomed! The bartender politely greeted us and as we sat down at the bar (opposed to the tables around the place as it's a pretty decent size). We decided on flights as a way to try out their beers and found out they do $1 off flights on Fridays so instead of $7, they were $6. That's a steal... up and charlotte they are charging $12-14 easily for the same flight. Everyone was super nice, both staff and other customers. It's dog friendly and they have treats behind the bar for their furry visitors and they know it! Great music. 90s movies playing. Seemed like they had a lineup of weekly events and discounts on a regular basis which is cool for those who live in the area. The beer was just so-so, I've definitely had better but it wasn't horribly undrinkable. My boyfriend and I like different types of beer... he is more of an IPA guy and I'm more of a lighter, fruity gal. Overall we felt like they were just very generic tasting. Nothing to write home about, but just fine for a Friday afternoon indulgence. They also have a coffee shop connected which makes sense as to why they have several coffee flavored beers, if that's your thing :)Overall the atmosphere, prices and friendliness of staff & customers were top notch! We weren't a huge fan of the beers, but we would definitely come back because of the overall experience and vibe we got!

This place is amazing and definitely worth 5 stars.Sweet Union is such a fun place with an amazing ambiance to hang out with family and friends while having a cold brew, a beer or a cider and watching your favorite game or just playing some pimball or trivia. The menu has quite a few options of beers. We tried the blackberry cider, the cold brew and sweet tea with coffee, and they were all amazing!!The service was great and common areas were clean.The location is in a shopping plaza with its own free parking lot. There is also a coffee roasters place inside, so you can also enjoy local coffee.100% recommended and can't wait to come back!

The service was absolutely amazing both times I've been. The crowd is great and feeds a good ambiance. Great beers on tap and they do trivia.

We had a great quick visit! All of the beers we tried were great - favorites with the hibiscus lime sour, black lager, breakfast porter and chai-hard cider. They have a few snacks available and several arcade games that was great for our daughter (and us ). They also have an area full of kids toys, games, coloring books and crayons. The bathrooms were clean and had "normal potties" as our 4 year old says. Service was also great! The other side is focused on coffee and smelled delicious. Tons of parking as well.

We had a fantastic time at Sweet Union Brew Co. The beers are great and the vibe is super chill. We enjoyed the games, put together a puzzle, and just hung out.

Fun local brewery with awesome bartenders and good beer! We're regulars for Thursday night trivia, and so is everyone else in town! Kid and dog friendly atmosphere, and if you don't want beer they also have a coffee that is roasted on site!

This is my 3rd time coming here. I actually didn't stay the 2nd time because when I walked in there were kids running around. They had a Groupon for a tasting and pint glass and it had been over a year, so decided 3rd time's the charm. Sadly, there was a shrieking baby this time around. I just will NEVER UNDERSTAND why the hell u bring a baby to a brewery? Well, I guess I do, you're selfish and have no respect that not everyone finds the blood-curdling shrieks of your spawn endearing whilst just trying to enjoy an adult beverage. If I have to be 21+ to drink it, it should hold that u have to be 21+ to be in the vicinity of me trying to enjoy my adult beverage.Sadly, this will be my last time coming here. I just honestly cannot deal w/the kids, babies, and inconsiderate parents who think this is OK.The beer and staff are fantastic, but if I can't be in a place that doesn't have them running around or shrieking to be able to enjoy them in peace, then it is a hard pass for me.Wish this place the best and if that kind of thing doesn't bother you, then I recommend stopping in. They do great flights and have an awesome, collectible pint glass. But, if you are like me, and that sort of thing impedes you from enjoying your beer experience, then consider yourself warned.

The pterodactyl and the sweet tater beer are by far the best ! We have been coming for years. Rachel and James are the best. Service is beyond amazing. Have since moved to ATL but we visit NC every 6 months and stop in every time. It's completely regular but in the nerdy neighborhood bar way. It's meant to look like someone's man cave or awesome arcade basement. The coffee is smooth and puts its neighbor Starbucks to shame. They don't serve food but have food trucks 3-4 days a week. If there's no food we bring Cook Out or pizza over and enjoy our brews. Flights are a great place to start for beginners. It's kid friendly and unpretentious. The best kept secret outside of CLT !

Great atmosphere, genuinely friendly staff, yummy beer. Dog friendly. Plenty of seating and fun trivia nights. They don't have a kitchen but there are snacks you can buy and sometimes there's a food truck parked outside. They have some arcade games and board games too.

Great brewery! We live in Charlotte but ventured over there to check it out. We will be coming back for sure!
