Two years in a row, I got a beautiful cake here for my daughter's birthday. I gave a few photos for inspiration and they nailed it. Like a work of art! I didn't get to actually eat any of it last year, but this year I did and it was delicious.

YAY For gluten free cupcakes!!! They also have cake pops and other gluten free items. I do wish they were alittle fresher. I got them on a holiday and they were very fresh but the recent time I went they were on there way out. They were a tad dry and icing wasn't as fluffy . Recommend going in a holiday or preordering

Delicious cupcakes! I love lemon cupcakes and this was by far the best one I've had in a while. They were also sampling almond cake and that was very good as well. I wish I lived closer because I'd come here every week. If you're not into cupcakes they also had cake pops, Rice Krispie treats, cookies, hot chocolate bombs, drip coffee, teas and several other things to try. Staff was very friendly, shop was clean and nicely decorated, Yelp check in special was accepted.

They made a cookie cake, cupcakes and a wonderful wedding cake for my son and daughter in law's wedding. Everyone loved it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a cake or cookies. Extremely friendly and helpful.

Sweet Cakes went above and beyond! The customer service was top notch and the cake came out beautifully!! We ordered the lemon berry cake and OMG it was the most moist and delicious cake I have ever had!! Thank you Sweet Cakes for doing such a fabulous job, the cake was a hit for my sisters birthday!

Stopped by this bakery on a Saturday afternoon. It is small and quiet. Looks like they still had plenty of flavors left but I specifically came in for the cherry almond as it was their special flavor for April and not enough bakeries make cherry!Service: okay, not bad but not outstanding. Was just asked what I wanted and then checked out. Fine by me but just should be a little happier in a bakery of all places! No complaints though as I was able to get in and out.The cupcake: loved the cherry, fantastic flavor! The almond part with the icing was okay, but I think I would have preferred a sweeter vanilla. Still a great moist cupcake with fabulous icing and cake ratio.My only complaint - I bought two and they put two in a pink bag rather than a sturdy box. I get that it is more economical for them, but I was traveling with it and then did a lot of walking around with them while being at Birkdale in Huntersville before finally having them with dinner. So I had to be extra cautious with them rather than if they had been in a small box.

I am so thrilled to have tried this bakery. Not only is everyone incredibly kind and patient, but their work is so creative and tastes outstanding. I ordered a cake for my dad's retirement party, and they went above and beyond and delivered a cake that impressed everyone who attended. I requested a variation of a sheet cake they had created in the past, and they executed it perfectly. Not only is it beautiful, but it tasted even better! Will definitely continue ordering from Sweet Cakes in the future!

3rd times a charm. I ordered a few dozen cups cakes lemon, choc with raspberry, German choc, white, and choc. I ordered a couple doz cake pops, which my theme was fishing for my uncles 90th birthday, she made them fish and bobbins. I sent fishing poles and pic of fish, and then I ordered a personal birthday cake, which she designed just has I asked I sent a rubber fish. it turned out great. She also sent me pictures which made me so happy. Everyone at the gathering loved the cupcakes. I live in AZ so I have used this bakery a total of 3 x and she has never disappointed. I would highly recommend for taste design and customer service.
