Sushi Yama

One of our favorite places to eat. I don't like sushi so I always get the hibachi and it's always good. The food is fresh and tasty. The service is great. The owners are good people. I've never had a disappointng meal.

We have been here several times and continue to come here. The food and service is always excellent!! The drinks were also good.

Exceptional sushi. Came for Memorial weekend and enjoyed their special menu. The Memorial Roll was the best sushi I've ever had. I highly recommend and I will be back!

Food is quite good an consistent. Our favorite is the Swamp Rabbit Roll. Service is always fast and friendly. Some of the best service in the Greenville area.

Service is good every time I come here. Ambiance is decent as well and the restaurant is clean every time. Sushi here though is at best okay...very thin slices of fish and small portioning but it tastes fresh! Unfortunately the Nigiri Sushi entree is way below par (don't let you choose your pieces) and don't state on it that's it's chef choice which is pretty upsetting for a sushi enjoyer! Would still highly recommend this Restaurant.

My niece and I had a wonderful lunch at sushi Yama. We sat in a nice large booth and the overall decor and music are very nice. They had many lunch specials that were reasonably priced. The sushi was just decent in my opinion, nothing super special but still pretty good. The spicy tuna roll didn't have the spicy sauce throughout so half was more of a plain tuna roll. I enjoyed the hibachi here very much. The chicken and shrimp were cooked perfect, as well as the veggies and rice being very good. We asked for yum yum sauce (which I highly recommend putting on all things hibachi). Finished off with mochi which were also very tasty. My niece was a huge fan of everything, and I look forward to coming back on my next visit.

The food is amazing and always fresh! There may be a wait somtimes but usually quick ! The staff is amazing and alway friendly and helpful! The restaurant the always have everything so clean

Great sashimi selection! Definitely order fromthe chef's specials, they have some exciting offerings.

Sushi is good. Nice location in downtown Travelers Rest. We thoroughly enjoyed that they were playing strictly Morgan Wallen, however it was a bit odd and traditional Japanese music am make for better ambience, though we weren't complaining and rather singing while there. Our server was very friendly and attentive.
