I recently tried the Super Abari Game Bar with my fiancee. There were several games and it seemed to be an interesting place. When I first walked in, I was met with a greeter that requested my id.After proving my age, I asked about the rules and what to look at.I found that they did have several old stand up arcades and pinball machines but due to the time when I arrived you would have to wait your turn. The lighting was low and I guess due to the low light I was unable to fully appreciate game as I had to squint to see the pinball or check to see if coin actually went into the machine. The staff was very helpful and were very attentive to our need. The bar was fully stocked and the prices were easy to understand. The bartender was well spoken and knew his drinks.Overall, I was impressed by the service and the game selection but due to the lighting and the wait time, it was a good experience.

What a great time. Took me back to the days of going to mall and the arcade or chucky cheese with a bunch of quarters! Packed with all the most popular arcade games of the past along with pinball machines galore! If you fondly remember playing arcade games, visit here!

The Aesthetic: Modern retro community game bar with a massive variety of pinball machines , arcade games, fun drink specials, and made to order hot pockets! The Price: The drinks are a good price compared to other bars nearby, and they do affordable drink specials throughout the week. The Parking: They have a dedicated lot that fills up every night with overflow parking in the rock lot across the street. It gets packed during big events, so I'd expect to park in the rock lot at times. My Order: I love their local garlicky pickle juice, I pair that with a shot of vodka and I'm good to go for the night. If I'm not drinking, I love that they carry a few flavors of Lenny Boy Kombucha. My favorite games are Initial D and the Taiko drums, I'm obsessed! The bartenders and workers are super friendly, they make you feel like family. The Conclusion: This is by far one of the most unique and fun bars in the city, you need to check it out!

Never been to a bar like this before, but really enjoyed the experience! Drinks were great- the princess peach was very peachy and sweet while the no-jito mocktail was more sour. The staff was warm and friendly and the vibe was very laid back and welcoming. Seems like a very community oriented space, as a video game tournament was taking place while there.

This place is one of the best arcade bars I've been to. Clean, cool decor (the giant playable gameboy!!), kind bartenders and the best part - I didn't see a single game out of order. We played one game where you bounce a ping-pong ball to get it in a hole. I dropped one and when I looked under to get it, there were about 15 other balls lodged under the machine. Pulling them out every so often might help for better gameplay! They're thoughtful enough to have drink holders all around and there's also a patio with several tables out back. We went on a Thursday and there was a really good Jamaican food truck parked out front. I don't live in Charlotte, but I'd definitely return.

One of my favorite places in charlotte to bring out of town friends on a cold, rainy day! Even on summer when it's too hot to be outside. The dark cool interior is loaded with video games, 80s-90s nostalgia, fun art, pinball, and great drinks. They have food trucks sometimes but the homemade hot pocket is delicious and filling for $8! The bartenders and workers are so nice and helpful. I love stepping out in the back patio if I need a break from all the funky lights.

Great place to hang out and play all types of old school arcade games. Lots of pin ball machines as well. Parking can be dicey but worth the struggle. No need to bring your own quarters since you have to get special coins to use the games. TIP: NEED AN ID TO GET IN.
