Order: 5 piece whiting and peach cobbler The fish was lightly breaded which is a plus. Most fast seafood chains usually add way too much breading and all you're eating is fried dough. The fish was fried well, crispy outside and inside still moist and juicy. Slightly salty but overall tasty. The peach cobbler on the other hand; trash. Under cooked dough in the cobblers, too sweet, and an overload of cinnamon. Cobbler supposed to look golden and crispy with slices of orange peaches peeping through the cracks of the dough but this looked like mud. Will be back for the fish though.

I wanted soul food and but didn't want to cook so I ordered pickup. Food was standard. Nothing significantly special about the taste. I ordered the oxtails over rice with Mac and Cheese, Collard Greens with hush puppies and peace cobbler. Mac and Cheese was bland and you can tell they use a flour roux. The greens were a little salty and basic. The hush puppies standard. And the cobbler had way too much cinnamon and soupy. I may give this place another try, I don't know.

Please don't eat here.This food shouldn't even be served to a dog.It's terrible, flavorless & has 0 soul. Seriously!! The people are nice but maaaannnnnn the food is disgusting. The potato salad had weird texture like porridge and tasted didn't have one drop of mayo or seasoning in it. The Mac is shameful and tastes like they used the cheapest cheese they could find. The cornbread.. the cornbread.. TERRIBLE!! Hard as a brick and literally tasted like crap. The fish was fried great but had no flavor & the sweet potato pie was horrendous. I mean the food was so bad I threw away my money instantly. I put it straight in the trash instead of going back to argue with them about their food tasting terrible. The drink was good lol but literally every bit of food I got was BAD. Idk how this place has these reviews, they have to be FAKE

2nd time eating here and I enjoyed it a lot both times! Today I had the feast for two, very yummy! Got it delivered UberEats and order was correct, hot, fresh. Pound cake is sweet and yummy and has a lemon undertone! very moist but it was more like a lemon pound cake, so if you don't like lemon don't get it.

Our intire order was wrong . Both teas were sugar( we're diabetic) asked for no gravy. Only thing eatable was the pork chops 55.00 for meal expected better food . But the girl that delivered it up came straight to us and came to door at hotel. Great job Uber eats Would not recommend restraunt

Like it says "no frills",but food is good. This is me and my oldest granddaughter's go-to" spot, for Soul Food when we're near The Ford. I'm not a fan of croaker,but when I want bone fish,and fried hard,it's my choice,yams collards. I also occasionally cave to the pigs feet, same sides, sometimes rice w brown gravy. Drink lots of water, and a detox(this is me)beverage. I wanted to stop patronizing this business, due to the lack of customer service(I'm a stickler for cust svc,37yrs). So I began to make light-hearted convo's to "break the ice". Most(most) times,leaving on a "light" note.

My first visit was fried chicken livers; delicious My recent visit was oxtails; some flavor is there but the brown sauce/gravy is loose/watery.
