Summit Coffee - Ballantyne

Had the best choc croissant here this morning! Got the hubs an iced vanilla latte and myself an iced caramel. The coffee is good and the atmosphere is cute. Beware very limited seating at this location, especially on a Saturday! I will be back! Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I literally couldn't sit down anywhere and was looking forward to having a cozy afternoon reading with my coffee.

The service was great. The barista was super helpful and knowledgeable about the beans they sale and offered to grind them for me. The coffee was really good and they have a lot of cold and hot options. The inside seating was a cozy little vibe and the also have a lot of tables outside. I've got nothing but good things to say about

Service was great! Comfortable, small shop. Was great to get some work done. Bathroom was clean and equipped well if you have a young child - you don't see that often these days.

LA MARZOCCO!bravo on the 5 star latte this morning!As a travelling coffee snob I try to look at pics of the barista station to "see things" lol and I spotted the house made syrups. I got here and was very happy to see a La Marzocco. Quick friendly service and exceptional vanilla latte.I've been to a hundred "roasters" from Alaska to Boston, Florida to San Diego and this is exactly the kind of place I'm always looking for:complex espresso roast, perfectly dialed in crema, perfect temp smooth steamed milk, house made syrup. Perfect. 6 stars if I could.Finally someone who knows what they're doing on this side of Charlotte, my new go to when I'm in town.

Hello everyone, I was able to try Summit Coffee in Ballantyne today and it is by far one of the best coffee shops in the Ballantyne area. First off the interior of this place is spectacular and has that sorta beach feeling to it ( I say myself) and is comfy and great for studying. The equipment they are using is by far some of the best equipment on the market being La Marzocco and accompanying grinder. The baristas at this shop are highly skilled in their craft and are great texturing the milk and knowing the ins and outs of the coffee market and craft! Let's get on to the drink!I got just a basic latte and it was on point! Nothing was missing from the flavor of the beans to the texturing of the milk, and did I mention Latte Art?!?! This is one of the only places in Charlotte that does it that I have tried. They also sell their coffee beans as well and they are decently priced as well and are well filled.I recommend this place to anyone that wants to skip the mainstream coffee chains!! Skip Starbucks and come to Summit Coffee!!

Small establishment, but friendly and great for sitting and working! A bit on the pricey side however.

I always want to try out a more local place to give them a shot.There was nothing notable about this little shop. I was firstly taken back by $5 bagels.I'm not a coffee, but a tea drinker. The chai was lukewarm at best and was very spicy.

A solid option for this who can't be bothered by the line at the place around the corner.... It's a small, quaint place - the outdoor seating is nice but it's not ideal for chilly days. The baked goods are limited but delicious. Not sure why our son is insistent it's the best bagel south of NYC. (That's quite the compliment). Seems like a weird spot next to several fast food breakfast joints, but I do hope it stays as it's great to have an overflow option when everywhere else is busting at the seams. The coffee is tasty and they're very particular about keeping high quality. Sugar free flavor options are non existent, but maybe they'll get some later.

Best Chai Latte I ever had and great customer service. I recommend it . Yelp should stop bugging me to put a 85 characters review .

Coffee was OK. Service very good and a nice space. Just a little weaker coffee than I like. I think I got a decaf Americano 16 oz and they only put one shot in it. That may be the reason. Chocolate croissant was underwhelming.
