Suishaya

Our ROMEO group of 7 went here for the first time today. We had orders for General Tso Chicken (5), Broccoli Beef, and 2 Maki orders. The Chicken was very good, great fried rice along with it. The one order of beef said he had a couple of pieces of beef that were just so-so. The American Maki was great...and the Spicy Crab Maki also very good..Nice atmosphere. Food came out quickly. Service was good. I had the Miso soup and we also had an order for the hot and spicy soup. Both of the soups were great. All in all the ratings varied from (2) 4.0s, (2) 5.0s, with (4) 4.5s. Average was 4.5, so I'll round it up to a 5. One of the better spots around the Northeast.

Suishaya is a great spot for lunch! Got there at 12, and it was pretty busy, but had no problem finding a table. Our waitress Torie was very nice, and even though it was busy, our food came out pretty quick. They have a lunch menu with plentiful options and reasonable prices. I ordered the bourbon chicken with fried rice. Except for a few pieces of chicken that were a little stringy, the food was delicious! Will be coming back!

Quick takeout order. My order was ready in 15-20 min. I ordered chicken fried rice and house salad. The food was decent, rice was a bit hard but the house salad was fresh. I have to try the sushi options and come to update review.

I love Suishaya. This is my go to place for sushi or a quick lunch with a friend. It's always clean inside and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I love the hot and sour soup with the crispy won ton strips. It does have a little kick!In addition to the soup, I'll usually order the jalapeño tempura which is AMAZING! It's a jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and crab meat and fried--also not spicy. Another fav is the fried gyoza.The Columbia roll is great and said it be spicy but it's not spicy at all to me. The fresh jalapeño is very mild but I love crunch and the crab meat (it's fried!)For drinks, my favs are the lychee martini or green tea shot!Whatever you order, you can't go wrong!My only complaint is that items that are said to be spicy (per the menu or server) are not at all.

The true review is 3.5 stars. Conveniently located next to the Hampton Inn where we stayed for 2 nights. The place was buzzing with dinners and carrying out orders. Lo Mein was good. The noodles were cooked perfectly al dente. I ate the whole roll, it was big. This first time having a roll wrapped in rice paper, pink rice paper. It was crunchy (crab tempura) and tasty. A bit much of the mayonnaise sauce and not enough spicy hot. Our server, Hannah, was a delight. Friendly and kind, deserves a raise.

The place is small. It's in a shopping center with some high traffic fast food so I never knew it was here. I got a suggestion from a friend so I stopped by. I had take out. The young lady up front was polite and quick to step up when I enter the door. They have a full bar. When you enter it looks smaller than it is but there is a little more seating in the back. Still not very big. I had the Godzilla roll and Philadelphia Maki. They were quick. I was told it would be about 15 minutes it was more like 7 or 8. The Godzilla was tasty. I like it a little more firm though, this one was a little mushy. If I worked close I may go back for lunch with coworkers but I'm not going out of my way to return. I still have not found my sushi spot.

Was traveling through SC and this was a block away from my hotel. Ordered take out so I can't speak on the inside of restaurant, food was ready right on time, they got the order completely right. The avocado, cucumber, and sweet potato from the maki rolls I ordered were fresh. The sauce was good and the cheesecake was so good that I ate it before I took the photo. At least I would recommend take out!

Food was ok but placed the order on DoorDash when I was in town for work and there was a big disconnect. Restaurant said they didn't get the order so we went back and forth. It was supposed to be a 30 minute delivery and took over an hour.

The vibe in this restaurant is elegant. They have cloth tablecloths and nice decorations. We ordered the Incredible and Dragon Maki rolls and enjoy them. They were freshly prepared and delicious. We also got plum wine to go with our meal and it was a beautiful compliment to our meal. We ordered the vanilla fried ice cream and was not impressed. It tasted as if the ice cream was old and frost bitten while the fried part of it tasted as if it was fried in the same oil as the shrimp and other entree items.We went during a weekday evening and it was not busy. We were seated immediately and our waitress came for our drink order shortly after we were seated.

Good Asian place with good sushi. I think the name on Yelp is different than on google so beware. Anyway the sushi was pretty good and so were the crab Rangoon. Good drinks but the martinis are so sweet and always a little to much mixer (sweet and sour mainly). Cool servers too.
