Strikers Family Sportscenter

I've been going to strikers for several years now, but only occasionally as I live in Charlotte and bowl here with my mother when I visit. I purchased my ball, bag, shoes and some accessories from the pro shop and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and assisted me to make the most informed decisions. The entire establishment was clean and the lanes and equipment seemed to be well maintained. The snack bar offers a good selection and the prices are reasonable, and the food is good. There are plenty of lanes, so you shouldn't have to wait long to bowl, if at all. Ido look forward to my next visit and continuing to improve my game.

First time visitor and yelp'er at this place. Saturday morning tournament and they kids are finishing up there league. Always fun to watch the next generation taking to the sport. And even better when the establishment takes pride in the youth events.This is a very clean place. The carpet is always first to notice. It's clean and not a lot of debris on the floor. Good for bowlers. This is a 40 lane house. And but judging by the there lane machine. I would think they take very good care of there lanes. For this tournament they using a reverse modified house shot. The staff here is helpful. Snack bar has the usual bowling alley food and drinks. They have an exceptional staff working the snack bar. Friendly, fast and eager to serve youIf lived in the area I could see this being a very nice place to have a league in.

Did open bowling on a Sunday afternoon with my kids. The lanes are kept well, shoes and balls are in good shape. The staff was friendly and there were zero issues with any of the equipment. We grabbed pizza, nachos and fries which were all fresh. The food is your typical snack bar style/concession stand fare, but it is fresh. Overall, it is a good spot that is obviously a little older. Most bowling alleys are this point are showing their age so its to be expected. It is obvious that whoever owns this spot still cares about it and has their pricing set in a way the people feel is fair.

Not very friendly. Refused to let us have 2 lanes even though no one was using lane next to us for over 30 minutes...too busy???

Nice place to roll a few balls, grab a drink and a pizza or some wings. The food is good and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I always feel safe there. Plenty of parking. Bathrooms are clean. Most of the staff is super friendly. The server on Friday nights seems to pick and choose who she serves. Other than that, no complaints.

I'm not going to lie, when we bought the Groupon to bring our family here it seemed a bit old and beat up. It is set back a bit in a parking lot behind a small set of strip stores. The exterior looks old and a bit run down. I was really surprised when I walked in. It was clean and decorated for the new year. It looked pretty well kept. We handed in our Groupon and got our shoes. The employees behind the counter were friendly and helpful. I was having trouble finding the lighter balls for my kids. They went around and looked and finally went in the back to get us more. Once we got our lane assignment we ordered some munchies. They came out in decent time and were OK. Typical bowling alley food, nothing to write home about. My kids ate it so I was happy. The bathrooms were clean and the place was busy but not overcrowded. We will definitely be coming back, my kids LOVED it.

They ruined my niece's birthday party. They didn't have it set up as promised. They didn't bring the party's food or drink out, or bring the napkins/forks etc. Out of all the birthday parties set up in the bowling alley, hers was the only one not set up. Most everything we had to run back and forth to get ourselves. Three kids were eating mushy hotdogs, while the other twelve watched, because the pizza didn't come out for another thirty minutes.Then they finally got their lemonade. Oh, and the person who brought out the pizza, screaming hot, almost set it on a plastic table cover. GENIUS!The owner was spoken to several times. Didn't care. Asked for the party to have extra time. No.Asked for a partial refund.No.The best part...I ordered a hotdog to eat...I never got it, after waiting over an hour. In that time, walking back and forth to sing happy birthday, waiting in line, I missed the birthday presents and the party was over.Never got the hotdog, and they didn't want to refund it.Little teenagers laughing that have no idea what it feels like to see a birthday ruined.This is why I will never go back. I will tell everyone to never go back.

Nice place for leagues!!! We will go back!! Managers are great too!! Try the challenging oil on Top Dog league, very humbling!!

Worst bowling ally i've ever been to. I won district and state singles for youth and when i say that's the worst bowling ally i've bowled at i mean it. I brought my 11 year old cousin and he fell to many times and sprained his ankle and hurt his arm from falling to much. The floor board was way to slippery and there lanes felt like the last time it's been oiled when my great uncle bowled there like shit it was ass. Never going again. And the wait time just to get a lane was an hour just to get shit lanes. There customer service is bad to, I got yelled at for falling to hard on the floor saying that i shouldn't bowl anymore when i paid and wanted to bowl. I didn't drive 30-35min to fall and get yelled at about falling. When i asked for a refunded they said no bc i already bowled one game when i paid for 2 hours.

Great bowling alley , clean and staff do a good job disinfecting. We saw they have kids free bowling during summer. Good air conditioning too
