Starworks Cafe & Taproom

I was all too happy to send John over to the Taproom while I explored so much that StarWorks has to offer. I was there for over 2 hours! I did go up and spend time in the cafe and taproom and had a hot latte. Very enjoyable space- plenty of seating, so much art adorns the walls and shelves! I admit the bathroom was rather lack luster- I expected the art to carry into every comer. Service was perfect and I can't wait to return for another trip!

Nice café next to the large Starworks Gallery. Nice selection of beers, ales, wine, cider and a few food items. Indoor & outdoor seating. Not much available (such as fries, cheese & crackers) to just munch on with drinks.

If you are looking for drinks of any kind, this could be a decent place to go, but for a good lunch, it's just not an option at all. Premade, small "sandwiches" and a tamale plate that looked like it was a frozen dinner. No fountain soda, only in cans.Big place, lots of tables, but no decent food....so for a foodie like me a big disappointment.

STARworks Cafe & Taproom is located next to STARworks. The buildings are connected so you can go from the cafe to the galleries or from the galleries to the cafe.They offer coffees; smoothies; bear; wine; cider; sandwiches; soups; and snacks. The sandwiches are from Eden's Garden Cafe. I ordered a smoothie and an egg and cheese panini. The inside area has tables spaced out so that it is easy to social distance. Outside tables were available too. Live music events and trivia nights happen regularly.

This place rocks!! First of all, it's a wonderful art gallery/store/entertainment space. And then/-there's a nice cafe inside! We came off the highway looking for "Smoothies," of all things, and pulled up to this huge old brick building that is a gallery. It's a two-minute detour from Hwy 73/74. DON'T MISS THIS! They have sandwiches, beer, fancy coffee, etc. I had a Pina Colada smoothie--delicious. But best wall was the glass & pottery. A great surprise experience.

I really enjoy visiting this establishment their hours are Mon-Wen 8 am-7 pm and Thur-Sat 8 am-9 pm so they close a little earlier than a lot of places that serve beer. The only thing is this is the only place that serves craft beer in the area. The second Thursday in each month they have a band playing and food truck in the parking lot. On those days the place is hopping and a good sized group is there. A good time is had by all. I am afraid that I cannot comment on their coffee or smoothies as when I come in I am looking for a beer. I look forward to the day when I can come in and get something to eat. As I am diabetic I cannot enjoy the numerous baked goods they have. Only one vice at a time eh The place is really coming along I am truly happy this place is here.

I came across this place when I was googling the distance to another coffee shop. This place is a lovely hidden gem, with an exquisite showroom of glassworks beside it--and you're able to enter through the coffeeshop. I had wonderful coffee with good service and you have ample space to sit and enjoy it with books and games. There are art pieces to observe on the wall and you'll find a list of events they host. I can't wait to visit again.

This is the coolest place in Montgomery County, watch a glass blowing demonstration, drink an ice cold Gizmo beer, and meet the coolest people.
