Stanley Kitchen Family Restaurant

Over the years, this has been a number of different restaurants, some good some not so good. Been awhile but the last time we dined here, it was a Gus's Sir Beef and was run by the son of the original Gus's Sir Beer. Tried to go a couple of other times to other entities but they were always closed or in transition to new owners.We don't live very far away from there and in years past, our mailing address would have been in Stanley till the developer convinced the USPS that the Denver PO could server our needs better. That remains to be seen. Based on the reviews, I want to give them a try, particularly the hand-pattied Cheeseburger.This was Saturday and we left at 10:45 am and got there at 11:00 am My wife is not a Breakfast person, and we time our trips to catch the early part of the Lunch menu.We walked in and seated ourselves as is protocol. Our server showed up shortly with Breakfast menu's and to take our beverage orders. I ask for a Lunch Menu and she replied they do not offer the Lunch Menu over the week end.I've never seen a BLT offered as a breakfast item but there is was under the Biscuits. I also go a side of Hashbrowns.My wife ordered a more traditional breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns toast etc. Not what she would have normally ordered.The BLT is good although a little sparing on the Bacon. Hashbrowns were outstanding however and probably the best I have had in the area.My wife indicated that here meal was OK but not something that she would order again.Service was good but since we did not have an opportunity to leave a tip when the rang us up and since we don't normally carry cash on us, my wife had to go out the car and get a bunch of one's to leave as a tip.

You won't find a more tender-beef, hand-pattied cheeseburger these days for the price you'll pay than at Stanley Kitchen. The meat-and-three plates are excellent too: big portions, fresh food and good prices.

Great service, clean, and the food was so good. Home cooked meals at a very reasonable price. Wish we had one closer to where we live.

When I was in search for a local restaurant for my tabletop marketing project in this area of North Carolina, I asked some local business owners who would they recommend. So I check out all of the restaurants (about 5 on the list) and Stanley Kitchen was the only one that stood out with all of the highlights that I look for that the restaurant must have to qualify for my projects. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with several friendly smiling ladies, OK, so that's a good start, but now comes the real test. What about their service and food quality. After several dining visits, I was so impressed with great service and delicious meals. As a professional promoter of restaurants, I highly recommend Stanley Kitchen. And, I hope you also enjoy their new beautiful red n white checkered tabletops and please shop at the local advertisers you see on each table, who also supports Stanley Kitchen as their #1 choice for dining.

I love the food. The service is great . Worker's are very friendly. Portions and quality of food is great. The location is good. Prices are good.

Food is not good service is not good dirty carpet need to be pull up not clean need to treat all people the same i have work in food service you could eat off mt floor it was so clean

I enjoy the ambience and the burgers.The Daily Specials are spot on as well.This place is a comfortable little place that serves a good plate of food.

Visited Stanley Kitchen a few times during a weeks long visit to North Carolina. My family ordered different dishes every time and each time, we left completely satisfied. We only had lunch and dinner there, have yet to have breakfast there but I'm sure it won't be any different. The food was fresh, made to order, price was right and service was excellent!
