A friend recommended this place and sure glad we went!Cozy restaurant that can be a bit difficult to find off the main road. It was very busy on a Monday evening and our server Caitlin was so amazing from beginning to end.Lots of fun cocktails but stuck with their sparkling wine and was impressed that their prosecco on tap was good too.As tempting as the pastas were, including the special of the day, carbonara, we all ordered a pizza. A big fan of mortadella, and had to order it as it also had fresh burrata and hot honey! Our pizzas came out quickly and whole, with shears to cut it up into slices. We all thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas, toppings, chewy but fluffy dough, and filling!Would definitely come back in the future and highly recommend.

I came here with my best friend for a beautiful dinner. Although it ended with a rainy night on the patio, we had a fabulous time. Stagioni is top-notch. The service from the front to the back is excellent. Everyone was kind and attentive. They are committed to quality, and it shows. We started with their charcuterie and cocktails. I can't remember their names, but one was peach with bourbon, and the other was rum with passionfruit. Both came with the cutest accompaniments. My favorite was the mini rubber duckie. The charcuterie was delicious, with an ample portion with some unique choices. It was a solid dish. We went on to the PEI mussels. They were served in a more decadent sauce than what mussels are traditionally served with, but trust me, it works. The mussels were cooked perfectly and served with beautiful, thick, toasted, crusty slices of bread to sop up all that rich sauce. Up next...the entrees...We had the sausage and pepperoni pizza, which the waiter assured us was an elevated take on a classic. He was spot on. The house-made sausage made all the difference to this Neopolitan style pie. We then transitioned to the malfadina pasta, which was divine and unique. The short rib, corn and tomatoes proved true the old culinary adage, "If it grows together, it goes together". The short rib was cooked perfectly and paired with the tomato and corn; it made for a surprisingly light dish. We had the zeppole for dessert because who can resist anything that says "pillows of heaven" in the description? They were indeed pillows of heaven and the perfect end to our meal. They were so good in fact that they brought on the torrential downpour. Our server kindly transitioned us inside, where we finished our meal. It was a fantastic experience, and I rose to the top of my best in Charlotte pile. I can't wait to return.

Friday night dinner with friends. Our server was great - she came to check in frequently and helped switch out the empty plates when needed to (we were party of 8 at a 6-people table). Octopus (appetizer) tasted good. Pizza was great; the mozzarella one was pretty impressive and the crust was thin & crispy. Zeppoli was a must try; freshly fried and soft inside, it was sweet but perfectly balanced out by the temperature & texture. To improve... 1) oysters and mussels (appetizers) were not very fresh and the mussels were not cleaned thoroughly (we found a bit sand and sourness). 2) the reservation was a bit annoying... I had to call for party more than 6, and there was never a real person to answer the call so I had to leave voice message. We ended up updating the reservation by text communication. The I had to reply text to confirm the reservation twice - the day prior as well as on the day. Finally there was another reminder text "You're due at Stagioni in 30 minutes." Don't feel good about all those "reminders", especially there was credit card on file and a $25pp cancellation fee anyway.

We went for our anniversary recently and immensely enjoyed ourselves! We made reservations ahead of time and appreciated the sweet gesture of having a little note for us to celebrate our anniversary. I ordered their seasonal pumpkin cocktail which was excellent and my husband ordered a beer. We started with the focaccia and I loved the slight saltiness from the sea salt flakes on top. We ordered the broccolini to share and the truffle cream sauce on it was incredible. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli with short rib and I liked that the short rib was a hunk on top. My husband got the rigatoni and ate the whole thing. We finished with the salted caramel tart with came with like a savory biscotti. The server was excellent and not intrusive and there are quite a few more things on the menu we want to return and try.

This has to be my favorite spot to eat in Charlotte! The wait was a bit long but was worth it since the food was incredible! Our favorite was the meatball appetizers and the filet mignon along with the burrata pizza!! There is indoor and outdoor seating so we chose to be seated outdoors which provided a very intimate setting - overall 10/10!!

My husband and I went here for dinner Saturday night and enjoyed ourselves. The Zeppoli dessert and the lovely couple next to us was really the star of the show.First up, ambiance-- it was very dark. So the mood was set with candles on the table and dramatic lighting on the walls in red sconces. The Zeppoli was SO light and DElicious. It's served with caramel. I only remembered to take a picture after we had eaten most of it! 6 come on the plate and trust me you will want them ALL!I felt the charred octopus which we got for our appetizer was salty, but my husband enjoyed it. My meal I felt was average at best-- nothing particularly wonderful-- I ordered the duck confit gnocchi, and my husband had the ravioli which he said he enjoyed. He also ordered several drinks, a dessert drink as well as a featured drink-- of which he said were tasty.I had a mocktail and it was extremely sour. I was given the choice of ginger and citrus or fruity and sweet-- I chose the ginger one because I love ginger but this drink was all lime with what might have been ginger but tasted more like sparkling water.Once again, to be fair, I am pregnant so maybe I'm more critical than I would normally be-- but I wouldn't come back before the baby is born, to see if my opinion/tastebuds change to be more favorable. It was a nice time overall, and we enjoyed each others company which is what matters most.

If I could do a 4.5, I would! Really wonderful experience here and our server was a hoot! The environment was lovely and intimate - one thing to keep in mind, it is quite dark inside the dining room with low lighting. Loved how it opened up into the kitchen so we could watch them cooking. We tried SO much and all really quite delish. Focaccia mini loaf is a MUSTGrilled romaine was done very nicely and the calamari on top was a real treat Ricotta trio - yumMeatballs - really great complement to the other apps We got two pizzas and would highly recommend both of them (and likely all of their pizzas!) - pepperoni & sausage and the mortadella were incredible Two pastas - truffle tagliatelle and the rigatoni. This is where the 4.5 came in as the portion size was extremely small and didn't pack quite the flavor I was expecting. Drinks - loved the prickle me fancy and the Blanche Negroni Dessert - Omg. The flourless chocolate cake and the zeppolis were INSANE!!! Parking - tiny parking lot out front that fills up quickly but if you are passing Stagioni's on Providence on the right, take your immediate next right onto a street that will take you to addition parking on the right that has tons of spaces for both this restaurant and Rurus.

Good service, dark/quiet vibe. Food was good for the price. The mushrooms were really good, maybe the vest item despite only being a side. Mussels came with a tasty, more unique sauce. It was a thicker marinara type of sauce, really good with bread. The shrimp was a bit overcooked, but not by a lot. You get about 6 for the added $12 price. The pasta was cooked perfectly, I just personally would get something more saucy (or cheesy) next time. This was a solid choice if you like standard pasta.

Good food and great service! They make you order all your food at the beginning and they course it out for you. We shared the salad (really good), the pepperoni and sausage pizza (good), and the scallops with crab cakes entree (good). I wish we had tried a pasta dish as well for the full experience. The restaurant is dark so makes for a nice date place. There's a small parking area in front of the restaurant and a larger parking area behind the restaurant (by RuRu).
