Stack's Kitchen

Really love this place. I've come back a couple of times since my last review. Great prices and food. The service was quick and reliable. This Monday morning the waitress was a bit "down to business" and not super warm but she did her job well so can't really complain- she even knew we would need multiple bags and boxes. Food was out less than 20 mins after ordering. The place was clean and the food was good.

We recently went to Stacks Kitchen for breakfast just to try it out and because we've heard great things about this restaurant. Stacks Kitchen is what you'd expect from a small time restaurant because it does have s small town feel and the people are very nice. The decor and atmosphere is simple, laid back and inviting.The customer service was wonderful and our waitress was very good from beginning to end. To be honest, she was the highlight of our experience. Now to the food, I ordered the Stacks LumberJack plate but substituted the pancakes for waffles which was a great choice. The reason for the three stars is because the egg whites were under cooked, no flavor, the bacon was overcooked and crispy and the biscuit was bland.The waffle was delicious, well made and the star of the breakfast. The portion size is good for the price you pay so you are getting your money's worth. Overall, I was disappointed with the food but to each their own and maybe today was just a bad day for the cook. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine.

Food was delicious! Homemade bread. Good coffee! Portions are a very good size, price is very fair. Service was excellent. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.

Our server was great and my chicken Philly and fries was quite tasty!! My sister got a short stack of the biggest French toast I've ever seen and it tasty too!! Everything came out pretty quick. It was little noisy but that was just because of the amount of people enjoying their food.

Stacks is a staple in Waxhaw. They've got the best french toast and fresh-squeezed orange juice in town. Those two items alone are worth repeat visits. We've dined here at least a dozen times and we've never had a bad visit. Casual, friendly, delish. If you're patient enough to wait for available seating, head on over.

Came here on Saturday morning and this place was busy. They still had plenty of parking and the wait time was about 15 minutes. I had the traditional breakfast with turkey sausage, two eggs, hash browns and rye toast. It takes average for me. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with lots of employees. They also had modern country music playing.

Just tried Stack's for first time today to cater my son's high school graduation brunch. From me calling in the order to the team bringing it out to my vehicle...this spot has exceptional customer service down to a science. Ms. Sharon the catering manager, personally went above and beyond; texted me a receipt immediately after the ordering, called me the day before to check to see if I had any changes, and even came up from the back just to say hello when I picked up my order. The food was delicious!!! We ordered a large pan of scrambled eggs (creamy & cheesy), small pan of bacon (crisp to perfection), small pan of pancakes (light & fluffy), and small order of French toast (with challah bread)...it was enough to feed 20+. Compliments to the chef and to the staff @ Stack's, you guys have made a friend and garnered a returning patron.

Good food great service .You will leave full and happy.Prices have gone up most likely because of the eggs but there are plenty of alternatives and some are very tasty
