I love stacks so much the waiters are so nice and they are doing their best when there's so many people there. they get people in as fast as they can and i can tell why so many people are there. the food is absolutely amazing no matter what you get. they always keep the tables clean when I come and it's never dirty when I go. 5 stars

I ate from this establishment for the first time and must say the food was filling and good. As I got my meal as a "to go" order, I'm not sure what the service would be. I do plan to visit when I'm in the area again. One request I would have, is to scsmble the cheese in the egg. I've never been a fan of the cheese just placed on top but the French toast with the fresh strawberries, bananas, walnuts and whipped cream was delicious.

This is a must go place for breakfast in Charlotte/Matthews area. Great service, great atmosphere, great food! Just your typical diner doing its typical diner job - deliver friendly service and great comfort food and breakfast. There was no wait on a week day around 10am, but it still was busy with people. The food was hot, freshly made, and like grandma used to make. The bacon was greasy with flavor, in a good way. The biscuit was pillowy and delicious was jelly. The waffle was crisp, warm, and sweet. Also, you get a ton of food here at a great price! So worth it! I'm going to make this place one of my regulars!

Stacks is always consistent and top notch. Weekends lines out the door. First time for lunch was a huge success...Typically always go corned beef hash and eggs but the steak sandwich with au jus was a game changer. Great staff and place operates like a well oiled machine. Classic diner ambiance.

This place is so good! The Lumberjack was way more than what I needed but the fresh squeezed oj was amazing! The server Yolanda was the best server I've ever had! She was so friendly, warm and didn't even write down what we wanted, but got it perfectly! The owners knew my best friend and her husband by name and even though we had to wait for 15 mins, it was so very worth it! They have plenty of seating, and is extremely comfortable can't wait to come back to visit them and request to go to Stacks again!

Went here with friends for lunch. Stacks has a great menu for breakfast and lunch. The staff is attentive, the service is good, and the menu has something for everyone in a comfortable atmosphere.We ordered from the comfort food section; meatloaf, stuffed cabbage, and grilled liver. We liked most all our food and the coffee was good. The beef liver had some gristle and not as tender as expected , wished there were more onions with the recipe, but it was still tasty.Food is plated nicely, good portions, came out hot and prices reasonable. We would return to Stacks again when in the area.

I don't know how I just found out about this place. It's a classic southern breakfast joint, with a massive menu. Everything was delicious that we tried. I'll definitely be back to frequent this place! Great prices too and the tables turn very quickly, even during the core weekend hours.

I loved the food and had an amazing server i got the stuffed french toast with bacon and it was so filling I probably wont be able to eat for the next 4 hours. The wait was a little longer than they said but i came during rush hour so not their fault. The place was really cool they have fun little signs. It was a really good time to i would come back everyday if i could.

Everything is great and Yolanda is a fantastic waitress!! The wait on the weekend does get long at times...
