Stable Hand

LOVE this coffee shop! Would be more of a regular if Sweater Weather was a permanent drink. It's their best coffee if you can sang it in the fall! The entire staff is super kind and personable & they have games to play for a slow morning/ evening!

I stopped by Stable Hand in South End for a pre-work breakfast with a friend, and it's such a charming spot! The minimalist decor gives the space an open, airy vibe, and with only a couple of people there when I arrived around 7:45 AM, it felt calm and relaxing.The sweet barista let me know I could place my coffee order right away, but the kitchen didn't open until 8:00 AM. I went with the Mexican Mocha (dark chocolate, cinnamon, serrano peppers, espresso, milk, and a toasted marshmallow) and the Bacon Brekky Sando (honey-glazed bacon, roasted peppers & onions, egg, cheese on brioche).The Verdict: Bacon Brekky Sando - Tasty but on the smaller side. I couldn't really detect the peppers or onions, and I think a sauce like sriracha would've elevated it even more. Mexican Mocha - I was expecting more heat from the serrano peppers, but it leaned more toward a rich, dark hot cocoa flavor. It wasn't very sweet, even with the toasted marshmallow on top. If you prefer a sweeter coffee, I'd suggest adding extra sugar.The barista also mentioned the White Miso Butterscotch Latte as a sweeter option, and I'll definitely try that next time! Stable Hand is a perfect spot for a laid-back morning coffee run--looking forward to exploring more of their menu!

Good quality coffee (my cold brew was solid) and they have a nice-looking selection of wines. Some people were posted up working both in and outside so it seems like a solid wfh cafe. Service was friendly and efficient. Would be 5 stars if they had some gluten free snackies!

This was a very nice and relaxed coffee and wine shop! A perfect place to work or grab a drink with friends. It is small on the inside but the service and quality was great! I ordered the bacon sandwich and the brown sugar rosemary latte. Everything was pretty tasty and I would definitely recommend trying one of their seasonal drinks.

A delightful coffee shop, decorated in a rather spartan manner. On a Friday morning, quite peaceful as I enjoyed my second coffee of the day.I love coffee shops that have a cortado on the menu. It tells me that they're not one of those button pushing baristas like at the Green Siren people. No, this is real coffee and real art. Served in the proper short glass, this coffee was excellent.Sitting with my laptop and able to pound out a few emails and maybe even a Yelp review, this was a great little space for working. This is such a great spot to cowork with friends! On this trip I tried their yogurt bowl and a vanilla matcha latte and both were extremely YUMMY! They also made them so beautifully it was fun taking pictures of them. This place is super chill and there always seems to be a table available. The staff is great and their menu is pretty cool too. I really enjoy coming here to get work done and have a great cup of coffee and small snack. Parking is usually a breeze too, and that's saying a lot for South End.

Stable Hand has great coffee, matcha, and wine selections. Their atmosphere is clean, modern, and has a bit of an industrial artistic vibe. It gets crowded, but if you can find a seat, it's a great place to have a drink and a snack and get a bit of work done.Their food comes in small portions but is really tasty. I love the bacon egg and cheese, but it might not be enough if you're super hungry.

Stable Hand has become one of my favorite coffee shops in Charlotte! I had their seasonal orange cardamom cappuccino. The coffee was excellent with it having a smooth flavor. The roast used that day was medium but they use a variety of Hex coffee beans. I thought the orange cardamom flavoring was present while not being overly sweet. The inside of Stable Hand is extremely cute. I would love to come back for one of their wine nights.

It is rare that I try a place and it is so tasty that I am looking for a reason to return. But the coffee stayed on my mind. The yogurt was good and thick and I was actually satisfied . Not big on bread so I ate the egg and spinach but the coffee was simply the best part.

Stopped by this lovely little coffee shop for a quick jolt of caffeine and a snack. They provided me a refreshing iced oat-milk latte and some hot candied pecans lighting fast! Such a great little treat and the actual location was roomy with enough room to plug in a laptop to get some work done or meet some friends for a casual chat. Very nice cashier and good overall vibes.
