Speed Factory Indoor Karting

Not sure why this place has such bad reviews on Yelp! Check out the Google reviews! I never make reviews but want to help this business out. I went here yesterday with my 13yo Nephew. We had a blast! All the employees were so nice and friendly. They even helped out my nephew and gave him some tips since he has never driven a go kart before. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! Don't listen to these other reviews!

Great Corporate Team Building Venue. The manager Josh took care of everything for us. The entire staff that works here is very professional and safety is #1. Everything was clean, and organized. I would highly recommend coming here for a corporate event, fun for the family, or for some racing practice!

teenagers telling adults how to drive fast go karts is not a good combination! This was such a disappointment and a waste of my money! We will not be going back again and advise you to find another place to have fun!

It seems a little sketch when you first walk in, but then it's really laid back. They have drinks and snacks. It's very family friendly. The kids had fun, the go-karts go fast. You get 8-12 laps in but they split it in two sessions.

Don't spend your money here. My husband, myself and another couple went this weekend. We were told we could only buy two races. We were ignored at the actual track and watched the same people go around many times. It appeared these drivers were friends of the employees. That group was bumping and ramming others into the curves and sides of the track. None of the employees were using the flags that signaled to stop bumping or slow down. We had to remind the employees that we were waiting to drive. On our turn, the same group of aggressive drivers drove with us. I was hit more than once and others in our group as well. No flags were displayed, no warnings issued. At the counter we asked why this was allowed and the employees threatened to call the police on us. We wanted to know why they have rules when they had no intention on abiding by them. We spoke to the manager and she behaved as if she didn't know who the employees were and why they weren't stopping the reckless and dangerous behavior. I will never go here again or recommend anyone else go.

This place is a joke. They don't even deserve a 1 star but you have to rate them something just to post for everyone to be aware. The track crew were eating, drinking and joking around while our group of 12 were waiting to be assigned. After addressing them, they assigned the seats and had our group sitting in their karts without cranking them. I decided to walk over and start strapping in our groups seat belts, then finally the crew manager had his guys do their job. After exchanging a few words, we were off to the race. This place is a disaster. Unprofessional and your visit will seem as An interruption to their circle jerk. I kept my cool because it was my sons birthday. Should've caused a scene. F*&@ this place. I'll go back to Leman's.

This place was so bad I am a regular and every time I come there's wrecks everywhere and I'm always out injured and the carts never work right . I drove with no breaks cause I couldn't stop then they moved me to another cart . The cart I was moved to the gas wouldn't gas wouldn't stop and then someone slammed me in to the fence .now when I say this I mean there a black plastic thing then tires and then the fence so this place is terrible.

We came here with a group of junior drivers over the weekend and the young men who were working were so amazing with them. They made sure the kids were in the right size karts, kept making sure they were ok on the course, and were super attentive to the track. Very impressed by these employees! Our kids had a blast!

Super disappointed. We've been there before and always had a great time on weekdays. Went there yesterday for my child's birthday and had a terrible experience. Paid for two races and after the first, our child and friend got out of line to tell us something, went and got back in line. Stood there for 2 hours while they continually let people go in front of them. Continued to tell them they would be next while that never happened until my husband went over to ask why they continually pass them by. We got there at 2 and didn't leave till 5 for 2 races!! He was told they were having a computer problem but I don't believe that when they kept telling the kids they were next and then passed them by. I was also super disappointed to see the staff and customers vaping inside the building in front of the kids. That seems very unprofessional and a poor example to impressionable children. Next time we will go to the LeMans go carts and see how that goes.

Speed Factory Indoor Go Karting Downtown Spartanburg, SC at 130 E. Daniel Morgan Ave is one of the best places to be on the weekend with the great customer service from the front staff and all their help with registering and making the experience an memorable one. It's not all about the money with these guys it's all about if we the guests are having the best time and they make sure we want to come back. The track is one of the most biggest tracks of indoor Karting in South Carolina with karts that go up to 40 mph. The track staff is awesome as well they make sure that we get the best and fastest kart and every time I go I make sure I ask for the fastest kart so i can win the race. They make sure that we understand all the rules and understand what every flag color means so that we have one of thes best experiences. Speed Factory is the #1 indoor Karting place hands down and I only see them getting bigger and bigger. Hey let's not forget that they also have a free pool table for the guests and all they ask for is ID and you can play for as long as you want. I love coming here because it's an great experience and it's a fun place for the family to have some fun and plus to bring the boys for a little competition. Hey Speed Factory keep up the good work and I'll keep coming back spending money with you guys...
