Trinty church off providence has food truck fridays i believe 5-9 . I meet my friend there for dinner an found Sophie's soul food now my first question when I saw Shrimp po boy ?? I have been to new Orleans an had a real shrimp po boy how does it compare The gentlemen said it was awesome so Thats what I ordered. He did not tell a lie lol It was a hoagie roll large shrimp an pickles an a sweet sauce . Shrimp was cooked perfect It was getting a little messy but thats when its the best lol Fries were my side an a bottled water 12 not bad at all. I will be looking out for this food truck again they had a pound cake i wish i would have tried. If you see this food truck you gotta get a bite to eat

I love Ms Sophie's food!! I found her at Cotswold Food Truck Friday and I've been tracking her down ever since! My favorite is Ms Sophie's Soul Rolls. Oh my goodness!! There like egg rolls but SO much better!! It has her fried chicken chopped up, Mac and cheese, and greens inside! It's literally the best thing next to her burger and peach cobbler! If you see this food truck trailer-you want to stop by and get some grub!

I gave one star because I had to give something.Don't waste your time! I mistakenly thought Fish tacos would be a relatively healthy and quick meal: it is a food truck, after all. It took over 30 minutes. They prepped as they made each meal, serving people's orders out of order and wouldn't even know which one was up. I had to ask for a cold beverage (and napkins) as mine was warm. I was ready to concede if the meal was good, but it was super greasy, too, including the mac and cheese!These people should not be in this business.

I had the pleasure of trying Sophie's at my job today. & I provided this truck with three stars for one reason only, the greens.. they were good but just a tad bit to salty for me. Now the burger was delicious!, very filling. I didn't get to try any desserts and the strawberry cake and the banana pudding sounds very good!, I hope they come back to my job again.

We went to the food truck event in prosperity village and waited in line for over two hours. I understand they were busy but this wait is completely unacceptable. I will not go to this truck again because of the wait.

This was our first time at the Food Truck Friday's in uptown Charlotte area. We stood in line at Sophies for maybe about 20mins, which wasn't bad seeing that all of the lines were pretty long. We ordered the fish dinner (2 tilapia, potato salad and cole slaw) the hot wings with mac & cheese and green beans and the po' boy sandwich that came with fries. The menu is soul food but the seasonings were not. The Mac & cheese was not very cheesy, the tilapia had ABSOLUTELY no seasoning, cooked well but no seasoning. Even the guy who were Sharing a table with said the same thing, the potato salad was okay, cole slaw was pretty good and the po' boy sandwich got rave reviews. The peach cobbler Tasted as if it had Splenda or some other kind of natural sweetener in it. Oh and the winds were decent, wings in a hot sauce can't really go wrong. I heard someone else say the fried chicken was good, I cannot personally vouch for that. Hopefully someone one else's experience was or will be better then mines.

Let me tell you, they have one of the best Philly cheesecake I have ever had. thank you for these ladies for doing what they do. And I look forward to eating there every Friday I get. really makes a long night of work worth it. Keep up the hard work and see y'all Friday. From one of your amazon works

FIRE. I had their shrimp sandwich, I forget what sauce was on it but that meal was amazing. Definitely coming back

I was very disappointed the chicken was frozen and pre-breaded two small pieces of chicken all dark and two sides $14.30 the potato salad was store-bought and the collar greens was cand and not a very good one at that I would not recommend this place

They parked outside Studio Cellar in southend and we got takeout here. Philly cheesesteak fries and the mac-n-cheese were great.
