Sol'Delish

Food was delicious and very well seasoned. I loved the collard/kale greens. The sweet potato pound cake was unbelievable!!! The service was excellent and very timely. Very nice dining experience.I highly recommend this restaurant.The owners even came out to greet us.

Great 1st visit. Just saw on IG they just had their 1 year anniversary. Sat outside and enjoyed the music. 90s and 2000 RnBBrought my son here for his birthday. Little confusion with what's being served at the bar but was rectified. Food was made fresh but not an unreasonable wait time for it. Everything was tasty. One of the owners came by and checked on us. Server was attentive. Definitely would come here again!

My mom wanted to try this spot so we made it a girl's night out. We decided to sit outside since it was a nice evening. Our waiter, Josh, was very pleasant and patient, giving suggestions. I ordered turkey wings, sweet potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. OMG!!! It was soooo amazing! I even tried my mom's chicken wings and it was seasoned and so crispy! All of the food ordered was perfect! Josh then ask if we wanted dessert. They ran out of cheesecake, so we tried the sweet potatoe pound cake. I wish I would have ordered the whole cake! It was perfect, not too sweet!I definitely would recommend this spot to everyone! Everyone was so pleasant and professional!

Good southern cooking and hospitality! I enjoyed visiting Sol'Delish for brunch. I went on a Saturday afternoon 20 to 30 minutes after opening. The inside is quite small so there was already a wait but they did have a nice outdoor patio with heaters. The heaters warmed the space nicely as it was February and I didn't get cold. It was also a fairly nice day out. I ordered the mimosa flight which was good. The lavender was a favorite. I did think the mimosas could have been a little colder temperature wise. I ordered the fish and grits meal. It was good and seasoned well. I would return in the future !

First time trying, it was crowded for dine in so I opted for takeout. I ordered the garlic Parmesan wings and it was delicious! I loved that although it's soul food it was not greasy to give you that "why did I just eat this feeling" it was just right! I also ordered a side of Mac of cheese (not pictured) which was super cheesy but also delicious. Will definitely be going back in the future.

This is my impression for my first visit to Sol'Delish. The spot was crowded. It's a very small but cozy location. I chose to place a carry out order. I was greeted with a smile and friendly front end staff. She said 30 min and she would call me. I waited awhile trusting and believing the call was come. I went back in to check on my food. It had been sitting for a moment. She apologize stated that her phone was busy. Honestly, it was average, bland and pricey. It's probable better hot.... $28 for 3 wings up charge for yams or the mac n cheese...

Loved this quaint little restaurant for brunch. My friend and I had to be on the waitlist because it's so popular and the food is amazing. They had a bench outside with a warmer for you to wait which was actually comfortable. I love the peach Bellini with chunks of peach and the salmon was moist flavorful and filling perfectly creamy grits too! Definitely a must and I hope they expand soon!

I finally got to check this place out last night for dinner and man is this the best food I've had in the city in a long time. Arrived at 7 and there were ppl outside waiting as I expected since they've been reviewed by a couple of popular foodie influencers. We put our name on the waitlist and were seated about an hour later. We opted to sit outside since the inside is small and cramped. Our server was Bre, she was friendly and helpful in choosing our food & drinks.I ordered the crab cake with a side of grilled shrimp and Mac-n-cheese and broccoli for my sides. Everything I had was superb. My dining companions had the fried chicken, salmon and garlic parm wings. My friend who ordered the salmon said it was cooked perfectly. I wish the crab cake was a little bigger for the price ($28).If I lived closer they would definitely see me every week.

I have been here several times before writing this review and I can honestly say, I have yet to have a bad experience. The food is very good, well seasoned and plentiful. Usually I get the turkey wings, greens and mac. Recently, I found a new fav, the salmon and grits! Sol Delish is a very small space so expect to wait during high peak times. The owner is so down to earth and shared with me there will be a new larger location on the University area Boardwalk! I will be there

I was in town to head to Costco and my cousin made the recommendation to try Sol Delish...so here I am.I was immediately greeted by my waitress DeeDee and she was very nice and professional. She was able to make some recommendations and I must say, they did not disappoint! I had the fried chicken wings and a piece of fried fish. My sides were mixed greens and macaroni and cheese! Listen! When I placed my fork in the Mac and cheese, it was beyond cheesy! whew! Some of the BEST I've had in a very long time! I also had a cocktail and it was a blueberry martini! The ambiance was a good vibe...nice music and they even have tvs so you can watch a game if you like. It's SO good. I would highly recommend this restaurant for sure. As a matter of fact, I think I'll go back today.
