Brooklyn ... North Carolina! I love it! I was meandering about in the area between the Charlotte Convention Center and the Hyatt Place I was staying at. This eclectic location is a treasure that should not be hidden!Part museum, heart club, and part venue, this location is personal and the owners wanted to respect the history and newness of the area.I was fortunate to have the owner give me a guided tour and I was fascinated the entire time! In the club they have a young lady serving food. Bartender made me a good drink. The band totally jammed!Btw, I should have posted this 3 months ago. My apologies!

I went in on a Thursday night and they had karaoke with a DJ. Food was ordered from a QR and they bring it to your table.

Wandered in there last night around last call and the staff was so thoughtful and caring for my wife and I. A great spot!

I visited Society 229 last week (October 19, 2023) while visiting Charlotte for a weeklong Transit Leadership Program and had a BLAST!! I am a huge fan of live music and Shableek the Saxophonist did not disappoint. About 20 or 30 of us walked into Society 229 and were graciously accommodated. The drinks were amazing and the service was great. I'm only rating 4 stars since I didn't have any food. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a chill and welcoming adult atmosphere. I know where to go whenever I'm back in Charlotte.

My first there. Everything about this place was very nice. I had a great time. I will go again. I will say drinks were pricey but all-in-all a fun night was had by all.

I'm from Los Angeles California and visiting CATS, (Charlotte Area Transportation System - EnoMax Leadership Academy) had an amazing go through of live music, great food, and a museum tour! If you are visiting Charlotte NC, you must visit this place. My class and I had the opportunity to meet the owners, a very welcoming and down to earth couple. We all had the experience of a lifetime at their place!

Had a fabulous evening enjoying the live music and delicious food. The owners were incredibly kind to our group and we had a great time enjoying the music, food, and the beautifully curated art.

Always a great place to stop by whether you're looking for live music, art, photography, or just a place to kick back and have a drink (for the drinker and non-drinker). You'll enjoy yourself!
