I love to shoot pool, and thankfully there is a great pool hall close to my house. I've been coming here for years and have always had a great experience. There are plenty of nice tables, a good beer selection and the staff is always friendly. If you like shooting pool definitely stop in.

Great pick for a date night! Super staff and their food is very good! Got the fried pickle chips and hot dog to go. Can't wait for a repeat!My fiance got the club sandwich which was very yummy!

The venue is a great place to play pool around other pool players. Great service staff and a fun foods are available. Parking in the business center lot is adequate.

I don't often do short and sweet but here we go.Solid number and condition of tables. Great service. A solid way to spend a chill afternoon with a friend.

I finally came here for the first time yesterday. Despite all my friends going so often I never once went with them. I had been missing out for so long!Though from the outside it looks dark and sketchy with covers over the windows, it is actually just hiding the great atmosphere inside. Lots of tables: about 20 I believe. Lots of seats and bars around the walls, a jukebox and even a bar to drink at. They of course serve some beers and the staff is nice and the place just has a real hip feel.It seems a lot of pros, semi-pros and other tournament goers frequent the place both for big games and practice. Keep a look out for great drink specials like $2 pints on Tuesday or $1.50 Miller Light bottles on Saturday. Saturday is $5 an hour all day for pool but there are other $5 times on various days. Highly recommended!

There is no better place to shoot pool! I visited Smokin'cue a few months ago. The atmosphere was very casual. I was able to get a table on this moderately busy evening. I sat at the bar while waiting on my partner. Observed the competition going on in the front tables. Very relaxed....very good players. Had a nice very "cold beverage" while waiting. Finally decided to get a table. I have played in various locations. The cloth was good on the tables. Not too worn...but not new as compared to another visit to a hall in the NE. But the table played well. Although there were players around...I was able to play easily without conflict since the tables were spacious. I would preferred to pay a little less than what I paid for the hour. Otherwise great shooting night and looking forward to going again soon.

This is a great place to go shoot pool if that is what you are looking to do. The staff was super friendly and it was clean. We went on a Saturday evening, masks are required and they clean each table after use. They only serve beer and wine which was fine for me. They serve some food as well but I didn't try any. The only thing I didn't like was that all tables were available to use so I felt the ppl next to us were too close but other than that it was a pleasant experience.

Pooool! Not a bad place. Last time I came to this University area pool hall, it was completely full with smoke. Now, since the ban on smoking has went through I throughly enjoy it a lot more. I came here on a weekday, and there was basically no one here. I played a couple games, I believe they were pretty cheap ($5 an hour?) I can't be so sure because someone else payed for it.I highly recommend to come play here if you have the free time and you like billiards!

Awesome place for some pool. Its spacious, and you'll see people actually practicing for leagues... its not like other places that are run down or with a sketchy crowd.

Hands down the Best Pool Hall the Queen City has to offer. More Billiards Club than Bar; yet they also have good local beer on tap, and offer cheap specials on bottles, and outstanding "bar food". The kitchen far exceeds any expectations, with the Chicken Wings and Fried Mushrooms being some of the most treasured secrets.The tables show the perfect amount of wear, yet are meticulously maintained and better cared for than any other place you will visit (no dirty fingers after playing on these beauties!). They are level, clean, and well lit. World-Class manufacturers Diamond, Olhausen, and Brunswick are the standard here; and even a couple with tight pockets to really show off your skill or improve your game.The staff is warm and friendly, greeting you with a smile and Handling any request quickly. Plenty of league nights to keep you coming back, and a group of "regulars" that are both amazing to talk to and learn from. Save yourself some time, skip the rest, and come here. No other place in the Queen City compares.
