Great local spot for some delicious BBQ. Owners are working the counter, brisket was good, pulled pork was excellent and the sides were good. Fair prices. Will be back.

Yes! The BBQ will not disappoint whatever you order. The banana pudding is a must! The folks who own and run the restaurant are the best.

Ordered the Brisket Sandwich at a local bbq restaurant. It did not disappoint. The homemade banana pudding was top notch. Masks are required and social distancing was established. It was a little hard to maintain at the door which is where the ordering. Counter is. You ordered at the counter and they bring the food out to your table. Nice little place with great BBQ

My husband and I were craving bbq and decided to try this place out. It would be easy to miss if you weren't looking for it but I'm glad we stopped by! The food was fresh and delicious and I would recommend the ribs and mac and cheese. The brisket was also amazing. The service was also wonderful and everyone was so friendly. If you're looking for quality barbecue and great service definitely check this place out!

The search for good bbq can be a challenge. The reviews of Smokey Blue's don't lie. It's good BBQ in a small down to earth setting. The sides are good. I really enjoyed the hot and the blackberry sauce. Blackberry was great on the chicken and hot was not so spicy you couldn't eat it. Highly recommend as a place to try.

I usually don't give five star reviews unless it is merited. So on a whim I decided to stop by this place since I was driving past it. It's one of those places that's tucked away in Spartanburg and you wouldn't usually know about it unless you drove past it. When I went in I noticed that they had beef brisket so that is definitely what I decided to order along with their moonshine sweet barbecue sauce. I can tell you one thing for sure, it is definitely hard to find good beef brisket outside of Texas where I am from. This is some of the best in the area. We will be frequenting this Mom and Pop place in our future.

We were invited to a family get together and asked to provide lunch for a large group. We decided to take barbecue pork and potato salad as the meal. The pork was outstanding the sauces were very good but what stole the show was the potato salad. That potato salad was the best one anyone there had ever had it was off the hook! This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend you go there.

Traveling and picking "anything but a chain restaurant" is dicey. And sometimes you run across a gem. Smokey Blues is a gem. Tiny strip mall. Small inside space. If you are looking for elegant it's not the place. If you are looking for big thick meaty fall off the bone ribs and tender pulled pork, give them a try. Great folks running Smokey's. Talked about the 4th of July and trying to guess volumes of ribs and brisket to make. It would be a fantastic place to get pans of bbq and fixings for a party.
