Had so much fun here. Dive type bar with lots of color & probably really fun in the summer with the garage doors open.

Veteran bartender keeps you satisfied with quick drinks, friendly service, and even a trick or two if you pay attention. Cool place to unwind after a live performance after a show at the underground, the Fillmore, or comedy zone.

Stopped by here before the Louis the Child show last night and the place was slammed and the gentlemen was the only one behind the bar but was slinging those drinks out, service was excellent and fast. Just really wanted to give this guy props for running a great bar with great service. Kudos

While waiting for an event to start down the street, we stopped into the Small Bar. Truly, we had no idea what we were in for - it is genuinely a SMALL bar! The environment and the bartender are welcoming and the bar itself is cozy. There are several Buffalo Bills items around the bar, as well as some hidden treasures (like small stuff animals up in the rafters) which makes for a good laugh. Although it was a bitter cold night, the bar filled up pretty fast. It would be nice if there were some small games which could be played (perhaps board games/card games) at the tall tables, otherwise, large groups are left standing for a large majority of the time. The one thing which caught me off guard was having to sign my name into a notebook upon entering - I asked what for and was told it was for tracking purposes (to monitor foot traffic). Although I am sure nobody writes down their real name, there should be a better way to monitor this nightly (a clicker perhaps?).

Well it's definitely what they call it- a small bar, haha.My husband and I came by after a concert at the amphitheater. It was a nice place to sit and have a post show beer while watching all the other people stuck in traffic. No draft beer. Cans only. They do have liquor for well drinks as well. Bartender was kind and the music selection was awesome.Just a chill, basic, nice spot.

The Small Bar is exactly that, a very small bar. We popped in after a concert at The Fillmore for a quick drink. We didn't stay long because we were walking back to our hotel but this def. a bar I could see myself frequenting if I lived in the area.

It's as the name describes - small. The location is great for pre-gaming before a concert, but seating is extremely limited. The selection is actually quite good, and service is adequate. The prices are a little wonky - some beers are cheap, others are crazy priced. There is a nice patio area, but it's nothing more than some seats and benches with a fence. Location is why they are there - they serve pre and post concert goers quickly.

It is what it is, but what it is, is great. This new bar literally is a whole in the wall. But its quite convenient for the area and a great spot for a quick drink. The only way you'll probably find this place is if your walking from the main parking lot of the music factory to the entrance of Bask, Butter, The Saloon and such. Its on the corner where seaboard takes a hard turn. The only other place you can get a reasonably priced beer in this complex is at VBGB, which is also a great spot, but not so great for a quicky beer. Small bar has $2 beers at all times. Last night it was can's of Rolling Rock and pints of lionheart. $3 22's of PBR and $4 22's of Budweiser products ain't to bad of a deal either. They also have a nice booze selection, but didn't ask if there were any specials on all that. All in all, my first line said it the best. Check it out, it comes in handy, but its not where I'm gonna spend my Saturday night.

Excellent drinks! I started going back in 2013 (I think). Mark, the owner, is cool. Live music is usually on the patio. Not sure if they do that anymore.
