Dropped in after dinner with a friend. We wanted to dance a little and play games, this seemed like a good location to do so. Upon entrance, there is a location to speak with an employee and purchase cards for the games. Not too far from the desk is a bar with seating. Unfortunately, a few of the games were not working properly, and that slightly put a damper on the trip. However, the drinks were pretty tasty and the DJ kept us dancing. Overall, it was a chill location, with not much traffic for a Friday night. This was my first time visiting this location. I did not order any food items.

Went to slingshot for the first time and had an okay time! Food: it was mid... I would recommend eating somewhere else. I got the wings and my husband got the boneless wings. We felt they were overcooked and again, could have had better food somewhere else.Games: The games were so much fun! There were so many different options to choose from and we did not have to wait to play any. The music: it was a vibe! We went on a Friday night a little before 9pm. Once the DJ started it was good music! We did have two people try to sell us tickets to make bets on a game while we were eating...

TLDR: Don't waste your money. Conceptually this place should be great, in actuality, it was a horrible team outing. Events, in particular corporate events, should be wary of booking this place. We did speak to two managers on-site and after the event with the event coordinator who offered to speak with the owners. Ultimately, we were offered a gift card for only 10% of our spend (which was over $5k for what was undoubtedly the least enjoyable evening we had all week and the most expensive.) Given the blatant misrepresentation of what a private event entails, I would have expected a refund. For those interested in the details: 1. The "Private Event Space" was not at all private. Although it was located on the lower level, the only restroom in the facility is at the rear of the lower level. Random people were traipsing through the area and some were even helping themselves to our food. This was a gross misrepresentation of Private and should never be offered as such to future patrons. For this alone, we should have gotten a refund. 2. Beer Wall - This was undoubtedly a draw - but the cards needed to activate the beer wall are NOT the same cards as the games - which instantly caused confusion as we were not given all the appropriate cards upon arrival. In addition, the cards deactivate after so many pours and you have to check in at the hostess stand to get them reactivated. Only NO ONE MENTIONED THIS and our guests assumed they had hit a financial limit (not an overserved limit) and we didn't know this had curbed people's return to the wall until the event was nearly over. As a result, our guests consumed less than we anticipated for what we were ultimately charged via the contract. 3. Bowling was not included in our original price quote (despite "Games and Bowling" being on the contract). When I agreed to add it on-site for $100/lane for several lanes all of them had mechanical difficulties. Lane 1 broke after a few rounds, Lane 2 pins wouldn't stay upright, Lane 3/4 ball return wasn't strong enough to get balls back to the starting point so you had to walk down the lane. Then Lane 5 was totally dark and they couldn't use Lane 6 since it was adjacent. This was the main "attraction" and there were a number of issues. 4. Food - We ordered two sliders, tenders and spinach artichoke dip. There were no chips/fries that came with the sliders - this seems like an easy compliment to round out the meal. At the start of the event, the initial volume of food was insufficient. Although it was replenished, the contracted number of people arriving and amounts presented were not aligned. 5. Facilities - The men's room urinal (the only male restroom available) had an overflowing urinal waterfall the entire time we were there. Manager was notified. Several game screens were cracked/broken or in disrepair. Several Game cards were malfunctioning as were many games themselves. 6. Competing events - Had we known Karaoke was scheduled, we would NOT have booked. Unsure if this was a deliberate omission or not but it was a major impact to the "vibe". The music was so loud (before Karaoke began) we had asked for it to be turned down to have conversation in the bowling area, once Karaoke started it was unbearable. One Manager did climb up and physically disconnect a speaker - how there aren't volume controls is different zones is a mystery. which leads me to 7. Overall Service/Communication - Event planners need to be explicit about what is/is not included. On-site support need to understand the event contract/food agreement in advance. On-site support need to fully explain (and provide working) bands, beer and game cards. Managers need to listen and act when issues are presented. A couple of the bartender/servers did what they could but overall, this was overshadowed by a host of other issues.

Slingshot has always been a good time but I feel like they've fallen off a bit. I went recently and about 40% of the games weren't working. They need to make sure they're investing in the games so that patrons can enjoy them. I do like the new interior. They've moved a few games and spaces around. I still think the frozen slushee is the way to go for drinks. After about two of them you should start to feel the drinks. The waiters and staff have always been pleasant with each visit. If they invest in upkeeping their games or new games I think they would deserve an additional star.

On a weekend that we were doing a Panthers game, we went into the city a day early and spent some time hitting a few bars and restaurants. After hitting a nearby bar, we decided to take our group, which included my 10 yr old granddaughter, to Slingshot to see what it was about and give us something to do. This is really a cool venue, with lots to do, and lots of drink options. We all had fun playing games, especially my granddaughter, and the adults enjoyed a few beers. There was a Motorcycle Club having a get together there that day, but they had reserved the game room off at the end of the building, and didn't seem to be a problem. You might want to check what's on their agenda before you go, but it's definitely a place to consider for a little fun.

Fun hangout spot with lots to do. It's the Friday after Thanksgiving and we were looking for a place to entertain the kids and spend time with family and stumbled upon Slingshot. They have bowling, arcade games, oversized games like Jenga and Connect 4, putter ball, and corn hole. They offered free lanes to the kids and they had a ball. They have a self pour area with mostly beer. The selections for wine weren't my fav, but I tried them and didn't really like them. I should have went with the cider. At 8pm, they start rearranging some areas for their night crowd. We had to have the kids out by 8pm and we were running over trying to use up the game cards that we put money on to play. We noticed that they weren't running us out and there were a lot of other families with kids as well. We left around 8:40 which was enough time to tire out the kiddos before heading home for the night.

Used to be fun but they kick people out for no reason. My friends were asked to leave and when me and my friends asked what the reason was just so we could understand we were told "we can't tell you that" and they proceeded to ask others if they were with our group and kicked us out for no reason. The Mexican looking bouncer who put their hands on my girl friend shoving her to the ground for no reason knocking the breath out of her and when her boyfriend went to protect her three slingshot workers stopped him, trampling over her. The black bouncer held my boyfriend while the taller white guy tried to swing at my boyfriend but missed. Save your money and time. Sad that I we won't be coming back to this establishment anymore. I'd try Lost and Found instead. They don't disrespect people without a reason. Also threw some other non threatening guy out onto the gravel with unnecessary force and he was bleeding in the face after. The bouncers power trip. You'll probably get bruised if you come here. They don't even have good parking.

Slingshot is a fun spot to go with friends or a date night. We went on Saturday night this time and most of the m bottom area was a dance floor with a DJ and two additional bars. They offer variety of games and drinks! The music is pretty good. Mostly rock with a splash of rnb. The staff was nice and even offered to take pictures for a group of people.

A bit overpriced and poor service. Still had fun but paying was really disorganized. Could've been better.

They absolutely Scammed about 50 people on New Year's Eve! They hosted a 3rd party 35$ bar crawl on their patio, meant to wave all entry fees (not drinks) for affiliated bars that night. Arm band collection was 6-8pm, bouncers guided us left of the main entrance to the patio entrance of the building. I watched them set up the table at patio side garage door, we were the first people to get our armbands. At least 50 people got their armbands and were told to wait outside the main entrance. Slingshot had about 5 bouncers at the door and didn't allow anyone to enter until 8pm. My group was at the front of this line and I was talking to the bouncers this whole time, there was no confusion here at all. At 8pm, the bouncers allowed people in but a lady at an entry table told us our bands did not cover anything and claimed they had no affiliation with the people giving wristbands out of their open patio entrance. The entire thing turned out to be a scam, most of the bars on the list didn't participate. The owner of the bar next door, Resident Culture Brewing, felt bad and let anyone there in for free and was pretty nice. Ultimately if you wanna play arcade games just go to Pins Mechanical, it's better in every way and the games are free.
