Came here on a Tuesday and found they have a dj every week, it was a weird mix but fit the vibe. Mostly rap and techno. service industry friendly. Decent drink specials for what they came up with.

Skylark Social Club exceeded my expectations! The mood of the place is intimate & the staff & community here we're accepting & welcomed anyone. Three bands performed while I was there & the crowd was encouraging & receptive to the diverse genres throughout the night. This is definitely a hidden gem I would say. Head here for some killer music, amazing service, & a good, old-fashioned (while still accepting people for who they are) establishment. Will definitely be coming back when I'm in Charlotte

Deeply disappointed by both the quality and the attitude. I know I'm just a tourist and so I don't really count to these guys because they're SOOO COOL but being made to feel like I was being a nuisance by ordering a drink isn't really a way to build business. I'm not really the target audience though because I have all of my teeth, have an education beyond the fourth grade, and I'm not married to my cousin

The Station has been re-opened as The Skylark! A new club for Plaza Midwood with beer and liquor and music themed events. Park in the lot next door at Little Italy because the gravel lot is uneven. Vaping allowed on the patio.

Really good mix of people at Skylark. Just moved to the area and they really made me feel welcome. Periodic Saturday pool tournaments are low key and a lot of fun. They also have darts, play good music and all the all the beer and liquor you'd ever want. You all should go there.

Best hole-in-the-wall bar & music venue in Charlotte! Reliable and friendly. It's like a family in there. The live music is awesome, and the drinks are even better!

This place is a dive... old gas station, turned into a bigger dive. Bathroom is nasty and the personal could use a lot of personal hygiene. Not to mention manners. Totally discussing!! Not for me. Prick , the doorman , said atm was broken, but we could get it next door from their ATM to pay five dollar cover fee. My husband heads next door, (ATM) my friends are there and I walk 25 ft from the door to say hello, while waiting for my husband to return . Mr Prick comes over with his Bully attitude( he has such a big position) and so dramatically freaking out that I crossed the line and haven't paid yet. Prick, states this is a private club, you must pay and show you ID, duh, still waiting for husband to return, I'm like, do you really think I'm gonna scam you out of five dollars. You need some etiquette at your position because you suck at making the customer feel comfortable. Why would anyone subject themselves to such treatment? To many nuts in the world already. Horrible place, so many other good establishments in Charlotte to choose from.KA

Awesome music. Good bartender. Ahole bouncer who ran off many patrons. Find these bands somewhere else!
