Showmars - Rock Hill

My first time here & last time here. I stopped in after a work.It's basically fast food Greek food that's over priced.I ordered a gyro "souvlaki" and grilled squash. The gyro was o.k., not really tasty. I sprinkled on lots of salt.The grilled squash was bitter & undercooked.

Waste of time and money. That little bit of food for $17. Will not be back. Nobody in the restaurant you should be ashamed of yourself.

Food was tasty and was served quickly. There were 11 of us that were comfortably seated. My only somewhat negative comment is it was noisy and hard to hear. But it was lunchtime.

Great service. Fast and clean. Have been here multiple times, and have enjoyed each visit. Restaurant is clean.

Flounder: Very fresh great crispy fry Shrimp: Yummy, fresh shrimp... great texture not over cooked. Hush puppies Onion Rings: Taste fresh made, airy and crispy Grilled Zucchini and Squash: Awesome to see this healthy choice on the menu. Good flavor Burger: Simple flavor, real beef Cole slaw: good consistency, not overly sweet or mayo based Nice service, even though this is a place where you get your own food then sit, they were very attentive. I can always count on Showmars to never disappoint me when I want a great salad! Always fresh and the salmon is always flaky and tender!

If you're familiar at all with Showmars, then this review isn't going to surprise you in the least. I've been enjoying the Herlong location for years. I know when I come here, the quality of food and service is always beyond reproach, no exceptions. For a quick sit down meal, that excels in freshness, quality and value, there are very few that can compete on their level with such consistency time and time again. Service equally matches their great food. Their waitstaff are very much on top of their game and always stay focused on you during your visit, so you'll never have to worry about that next beverage refill, napkin or condiment request, as they're always on their 'A' game. All in all, I can't say enough about Showmars. They're one of my favorite eateries in the Rock Hill area.

I decided to try a delivery from Showmars at my workplace. I ordered the grilled chicken chef's salad, which is described in the menu as "Grilled chicken on a fresh romaine, iceberg and spring lettuce mix topped with sliced tomatoes, hard boiled egg, cucumbers, cheddar cheese & red onions ." The greens were fresh, the dressing was homemade and delightful, but the boiled egg was missing from the dish.I also ordered baklava, which was delicious, but I was disappointed in the serving size. For the price I paid, I was expecting more than a bite that would fit on my fork. I have ordered baklava in Greek eateries before, and my serving for that price was double what was delivered. I will be going into the restaurant to determine if the piece they gave me was a standard serving, or if they gave me a smaller size since it was delivery. Overall- the food was fresh, well seasoned, and delicious, but my order was not correct, and the serving size of the dessert was disappointing.

everythung was horrible 0 gold floundre, shrimp. baked poyato was stll on farm growing said you would call but still waiting- ate twice as probably 50th and last hush puppies were still running1 suzanne corcoran
