Shortfields

Service is always attentive and quick. The atmosphere is perfect for an everyday meal or to watch a sporting event, it can be loud and is casual dining. The wings are amazing. The food otherwise is average.

First time visiting Shortfields.We ordered the chili cheese tater tots, they were delicious!! And we both got burgers, they were very good also. The service was good too. We did notice that the tables weren't cleaned off and requested that they do.

Kid friendly! Coloring pages and crayons available! And they have changing tables available! Parent win right there lolWhat caught my was the white wings! Anything wrapped in bacon is a must order lol. And the travelers trio paired well with the tenders! Egg salad, chicken salad and tuna salad with cornbread! Perfect for someone who is indecisive like me! They have plenty of parking available in the back but side street is available as well. Fyi. It's right next door to a brewery so grab something to eat and they wash it down with a cold craft beer!

Just left Shortfields for the first time. I don't usually write reviews but I had to come brag about them! My husband and I went for lunch on a Wednesday. It was not busy and we did not have to wait at all. We ordered the spinach dip appetizer, I had the French dip with tater tots and my husband had the trout with mashed potatoes. Spinach dip was by far my favorite spinach dip I've ever had. The French dip was so juicy and had so much flavor and the horseradish sauce was delicious. My husbands trout was cooked very well and had lots of flavor. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and flavorful as well! We are definitely Shortfields fans now and can't wait to come again!

You can't go wrong at this place!!! Everything they have is amazing! We stop there every time we are passing through the area, and sometimes we drive there just for kicks!

Usually good food with courteous service but this evening-not so much!Rueben sandwiches had corned beef full of gristle with hardly any sauerkraut or dressing. The waitress did not stay at the table long enough for me to tell her. She should have noticed all the meat left on my plate but chose to ignore.

Went there for the first time Sunday afternoon. (Travelers Rest location). Pricey menu. Not busy but extremely slow service. Long wait for food which was disappointing. Wedge salad was essentially iceberg lettuce. Reuben was burnt around edges and hardly any sauerkraut with dry corned beef. Had to ask for our check since we never got it while wait staff stood around chatting. Extra 3% to use card. Won't be returning.

WINGS & Salad only review. Boneless and regular wings are off the charts AMAZING. Salads are always fresh. Probably the best wings we have ate. The boneless are NOT heavily breaded - actually, I'm not sure they are breaded at all. We've tried multiple sauces or dry rubs and each are great - never too over the top seasoned (salty). We would give a 5 star review but ... the "white wings" are a bit dry and definitely bite size nuggets rather than the description which implies they are like chicken tenders/strip size. Hopefully, they will change the wording soon. Service can be slow but we always sit outside and enjoy the people watching. If you love wings, this is your place!

Service almost non-existent. Overall service level marginal. Very very slow with no payoff for the time. Food mediocre. No warmth to the environment. Not worth the effort.

Very good place to get a meal, chicken Alfredo was the best I've had, and the staff were very good and were really hustling. Come to this place!
