Shooters Sports Lounge

New to the area. Stopped in for live music and a couple drinks on St. Patty's day. Was met at the door by a bouncer asking for a membership card...‍... A membership to what I asked??... it's a bar. Instant $10 gone... considered it a cover charge but was not happy about it. It's absurd actually. Strike one!!! .... my son-in-law and I both took a seat at the bar after being escorted by the bouncer to make sure we pay our $10 due to no cash on either of us. We were approached by a rude barmaid that acted like she was doing us a favor for waiting on us. Strike 2!!...Son drank can beer and I drink Captain Morgan and Diet... had a couple shots and 5 drinks... in two hours time, I was presented a check for... get this $98!!!.... I still tipped $20.... $118 it cost me..... I bought 2 drinks for ladies also. Tito's and cran.... here's the kicker.... they brought my son-in-law a bill for $25 also. His weren't even on my tab ‍. Barmaid would not even discuss my bill because she said I was yelling at her. Strike 3,4,5. Clearly membership has no perks in this dive bar. Music was good... I even sang with the band. But will never step foot in that pathetic excuse of a "bar" again. It won't last anyway..... on top of that, my daughter came in to see me sing. And a customer pulled her hair because she didn't give him the attention he wanted. I had no idea that was happening because I was dealing with the staff about my bill... FAIL!!!

Such a great place to hangout! Great management and great bartenders. It's definitely a place to bring new friends

I like this bar.. I think the biggest thing for me is that there are no troublemakers hanging around, the place is clean, quiet, and the owners/barmaids are top notch.. If you like pool and/or watching the game, this would suit you good! Both me and my GF feel welcomed when I visit.

Great new sports bar in Hickory. Tasty pub food! Drinks are delectable. Pool tables, darts, and music make this place a wonderful place to hang out after work.

It's and old people bar and they don't even play good music pool halls ain't supposed to play rap wth!! 10/10 don't recommend

Ok I can't really rate this place just heard it's a great spot but just wondering if anyone knows when the best night to go is....thanks!

Shooters in Viewmont is a terrific members-only gathering spot for friends and pool enthusiasts of all talent levels. For the $10 annual membership, you'll receive free pool for the year and access to the many live music events that take place regularly. Bartenders are among the best in the area so come in and introduce yourself!!

Slow staff, expensive drinks with an assortment of rednecks and old barflies... Not typical of a Viewmont establishment. I met the owner and expressed concerns about his staff's lack of professionalism and customer care. The owner was rude and indifferent. Perhaps he nor his staff are accustomed to a slightly better clientele. We will not be back.
