I had the best birthday experience at Shinjuku Station. I also have never had raw sushi but I had the pleasure of letting this all you can eat sushi bar partner with my first time trying it. I liked all the sushi I'm just not a fan of raw tuna. The steak hibachi has my heart. I ordered like two plates. The eel roll was the best in my opinion. But that's a strong choice to make because everything was so good. For the price to be only $27, you can order any sushi, hibachi, and appetizer. I had the fried calamari. If you've ever tried fried calamari and it was chewy? This one was crunchy!!! I loved it. 10/10. Our server was really nice and provided us with everything we needed. We wanted to get up and explore the amenities such as the anime wall, claw games, and collectible boxes. Our table was accidentally cleaned off but the manager hurried and replaced all of our things as if it wasn't cleaned off. My favorite experience of this place was the robot waiters and the non-stop sushi coming out on conveyor belts. To top it off, I was so full I pretty much ate for the whole day lol

Took advantage of one of my wife's snow days at school this week, and took her for a fun lunch at Shinjuku Station. I'm not a big fan of fish, and tend to eat very limited sushi, but I was excited by the idea of the conveyor belt restaurant, but more importantly, the robot server!!!We got there around 11:45, 15 minutes after they opened and there was already a line into the lobby. They moved the line pretty quickly, but the lobby gets you into the experience, making you feel like you're on a train car. When you get through the line, you pass through turn styles on your way to your table, a very unique experience from the start!Tables were already filling up, so they sat us at the bar, and a server came to take our drink order and explain how the system worked. Our seats had the conveyor passing in front of us. It was really cool experience, watching the sushi pass by like a parade down the line, allowing you to pull plates off you wanted as they passed by. So many different options, but if you didn't see ones you wanted, you could custom order them on on the tablet at the table, and only a few minutes later they would come on a train, which ran on a track above the conveyor belt! Within the tablet you could also order appetizers like crab Rangoon, shrimp or chicken skewers, fries, and many other things. You could also order entrees like hibachi or teriyaki, something for everyone. The appetizers and entrees are too large for the train, so they are actually delivered by robots. They come to your table, tell you which shelf your food is on and then turn around so you can take your plates. It's a very unique and fun experience, with nothing else like this in the triad, it's a must try spot for a memorable experience. It gives you an opportunity to try many things that you may otherwise never try. But at the same time they do discourage wasting food, by charging a small fee for in eaten sushi rolls ordered or taken from the conveyor belt, which fully support and appreciate. Prices for adult lunches are reasonable, at $17 for all you can eat. And I think $27 for dinner. We had an absolutely great time, and will no doubt be back

The service from staff is really good. No doubt! And the place has a great concept. We've been in the restaurant for over 6 times now coming with my friends to try out the place. When I go to restaurants, I go for the food-place-staff. This place has a lot of potential but their sushi's a downer. I don't know whether maybe they are short staffed, beginner cooks or I really don't know. You come here not for good quality sushi but to experience the place and fill your tummy.

I love the concept. The experience was fun. However not my favorite sushi place. The rolls that are on the conveyer- we're just ok. I ordered a few things on the menu. The shumai- we're not very flavorful. The tempura was good. Ask for sauces. They were all very good. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful.

There's so much hype about this place that I had to try it. Line is always long. We were out lined up in the cold for 30 minutes then another 45 minutes wait to get a table. Wonder why they don't let more people line up inside when we had to wait to get a table anyway. I kept using the tablet to call back our server to ask if our appetizers order came through but it seems that call server button wasn't working. I had to follow-up with the other waitress more than once to get some soup, which was not in the menu. We got our appetizers and soup when we were almost full. Some sushi on the conveyor belt looked like they had been sitting there, you can see that the fish were darker and not fresh anymore. The portions seem large so you will get full with a few sushi plates easily. I had high hopes with the crab rangoon, heard that was good, but was disappointed. I didn't taste any crab at all. I tried the shrimp skewer - it was overcooked and rubbery. The place was clean and will probably keep attracting families with kids. The trains are fun to watch. Hopefully, the food will be better as the restaurant continue to grow.

I have been trying to come here about 2 months and we did come once before but the wait time was almost 2 hours so we decided not to eat here that time but this time the wait was only 45 to 55 minutes so we decided to wait now understand how excited I was about coming here that I ate so much and ev was so delicious I forgot to take pictures of the food and the little train that bring you you special orders of sushI and they have a robot that bring you food as well I will come back again but if you do come be ready to wait all and all place looks great inside and the waitress was very friendly as well the hostess was trying to help as many ppl as possible they are not opened all the way yet with only half of the restaurant being used I do believe they will get better wait times once they start using the other half and get a little bit more help and remember to always tip your server

I have been eagerly waiting for the opening of Shinjuku Station since hearing about it last year. After about a two hour wait it was finally time! As I walked through the doors it looked as if i were back in a train station in Shinjuku. So cool! The sushi was delicious too! I loved everything I tried. There were also delicious appetizers and chicken wings. I also really enjoyed the capsule machines as well. It was an extra touch that made it feel like I was back in Tokyo. The only issues I had were because it's opening week they were low on some items and still charged a dinner price even at lunch time. I can't wait to come back during a normal week and try it again!

Soooooo pumped that this place is finally open. I have only ever had one other conveyor belt all you can eat sushi experience, and only two conveyor belt experiences total, and I am so glad that one has finally come to the Triad! Everything about this place is so much fun. Not only is there a conveyor belt constantly rolling sushi across your table for you to simply grab and enjoy, there is also a robot waiter that can bring you your food, as well as a "high speed" sushi train that can deliver you an express ticket to flavortown!Yes, there are also plenty of humans buzzing about as your main waitstaff, and a kitchen stocked full of sushi chefs constantly churning out new items. The deal here, is that everything is AYCE. If you see it on the conveyor belt, or order it from the menu, it is included (with a couple rare exceptions). Don't order or grab too much, because excessive leftovers (we were told more than 3 pieces of sushi) will carry a surcharge. But honestly, that is the best part of the conveyor belt experience, smaller portions more often. You don't have to commit to entire rolls, you can try a greater variety of things. We tried a little bit of everything, from sushi, nigiri, and sashimi straight off the belt, to a couple custom rolls from the menu, as well as the appetizers and hibachi. We really did not encounter much that wasn't excellent! It would be hard for me to recount exactly what we ate, and again, it's all about your experience. Much of what was there you've seen before, however, there were some really interesting things like a seared basil salmon sashimi, nifty eel concoctions, and even bone in chicken wings were part of the appetizers (and they were good!). All of it super fresh tasting, and the price at lunch was great!Rejoice Triad, you are going to love this place.
