Sheslea’s Pizza & Pasta

Great price for a slice (or 2 for about $6). They are not Virginia slice large, but very good value. That said, the sauce is too sweet, and the pizza is usually a little undercooked. I always asked for well done, and sometimes it takes two times going back into the oven, to get a decent crust and lightly crispy toppings.

Order xlarge pizza I thought it was New York style. It's a thin pizza bland and with no flavor the reviews disappointment me I knew it was not good to be true when it's half Mexican food, I don't know why people have to lie in the reviews saying it's authentic ny And I asked her lady in the front to give me cheese packs, and red peppers flakes and she had the audacity to only give me 2 packets of peppers and two cheese for the xlarge pizza. It was late night around 10:30pm and I went to Mickey D's right down the street and as you know late night fast food joints the lines are ridiculously long and slow so I left. Went thru the shopping plaza parking lot and noticed this place was open. I just wanted something light. I ordered 2 slices with mushrooms and she told me $9. Last time I do that. As you can see from the pic not even a lot of mushrooms. She said it was $2.50 a slice and $1.50 a topping. I can go somewhere else and get a whole pie for $9.

Finally some place decent on Albemarle to eat at other then Mexican or Fast Food.I Went in and ordered the Calzone the young lady working the cash register was very nice, and the Calzone when it came out was delicious and hot.I Spoke with the owner who was very nice and the rating was very good.So if your looking for a change, this is the place to do it.

We came here for pizza after looking online for a quick bite to eat. The atmosphere was nice. The waitress was very sweet. We ordered an extra large pizza. We wanted it to be half mushroom's but they were out of mushrooms. We also ordered a chorizo cheese dip (I can't remember the name of it). The pizza sauce was too sweet. We also did not care for the dip. The chips and salsa were good. They have Pepsi products. You are only allowed one refill, you have to get it yourself from the fountain. The star's because the waitress was very nice.

Checked out Sheslea's on a recommendation and it did not disappoint! Sheslea's is opened by the same family that runs Deli St on Central Avenue. Their menu has all of your normal Italian fare with a blend of Latin inspired flavors as well - the result is something pretty amazing and completely unique to Charlotte. Can you get a Pepperoni pizza here? Sure. Garlic Knots? You bet. But what other pizza place do you know that offers Chorizo sausage and Oaxaca cheese as toppings??I encourage you to step out of the box and try one of their Latin inspired pizzas! I ordered the Fajita pizza - grilled chicken, green and red peppers, red onions, jalapenos - the topping were plentiful and oh so FRESH. I've never had a pizza quite like it before. Prices were reasonable and the service was friendly - the guy making my pizza asked if I wanted it cooked a little more after pulling it out of the oven and gladly put it back in for a few minutes longer to crisp up. I'll be back again soon! A very welcome addition to the Eastside!

Good pizza but the sauce is a little sweet. Great service and menu. Weill be back to try more food soon!

This place is slamming never had such nice cheese melted on my veggie sub with some clean crispy seasoned fries. Customer service is great, a lot of space to eat in and a small bar. Very good pizza & subs. Blessings.

I tried this pizza for the first time tonight. I got carry out. The pizza was pretty good. I like the crust and the sauce. I like cheese only on my pizza, but the others ordered some different toppings, which weren't bad at all. It was fresh and hot. I would definitely try some other items from this place in the future.

New to NC, so had to find the pizza spot. Ordered a simple LRG Cheese pizza and I gotta say, it's pretty great. Gooey cheese, tangy sauce with a crispy bottom. It doesn't get better than that, folks. I will be back for more!
