Second time trying this food truck and I try to catch him when he comes in town. They are set up in the parking Lot of Conns on W gate city Blvd. Based out of Charlotte, I have to follow his IG page to know when he's in town. First time I ordered chicken tenders and seafood fries. The tenders came with a delicious honey mustard for dipping the tenders in. The portions are big enough to share and when I put the fries in the air fryer, it reheated well. Please follow the IG page for delicious creations and the food truck location. Today I ordered a fish and shrimp platter which comes with two sides and a Buffalo chicken empanada. Since I placed my order with the owner, he told me that the correct way to order the side is to call them "Mac and beans." It is about a 25 min wait because food is cooked to order. I chose to wait in my car, watch the line and listen for my number. But once I got back to my car with my plate, I dug right into those Mac and beans & BOYYYY are they good! Very southern with cheesy Mac and slightly sweet baked beans with meat in them! The jumbo shrimp and fish is flavorful, breaded well, and fried to perfection! Great flavors on the seafood! I really enjoy the platter! Very well seasoned but not salty. I got a great portion on the sides and the chicken empanada didn't stand a chance, it was completely demolished within 5 mins. It was crispy on the outside but creamy, and full of chicken on the inside. The Buffalo sauce is not too hot at all, but you can feel it. They do accept Cash, Cards, & Apple Pay. Very convenient. Menu is provided when you're next up to order, so I forgot to snap a pic of it. 5/5 Starts Well Deserved! Owner takes orders and cooks, but has great personality the business he's in. 100% recommended and would certainly return! Great business!

Let me start by saying that when they announce where they'll be people show up! And early! I arrived at Walmart a few minutes after 1pm (they list their start time as 2) this past Saturday and they weren't there yet. Went inside for a brief purchase and the food truck was there with at least 10 people in line. 2pm came and they weren't ready. In my mind, the lady at the front could've said we'll be ready in just a moment but nothing. A few minutes later a guy said "come on up"! The food was really good although I thought a few more shrimp on the plate would've been worth the price. I'll definitely try again in hopes that they'll have more of their menu items when they come back to town.

Great food. Service is fabulous, with several offers to help us figure out what we wanted. The ambiance of eating tailgate style. Loved it. We're not typically food truck explorers, but we may become them now!

My first time trying to food and I was disappointed. I read so many great reviews I just had to try it. My food was so salty. The Mac &cheese was ok, but salty, the greens ok, but salty. The shrimp was good but tasted just like the chicken strips which was salty as well. For those prices it could have been way better. The yams was on point! When your plates are $25.00 or more your expectations are high and the food should be more than excellent. The customer service was not friendly and you should be greeted with at least a hello. Not walking up and they are having a personal conversation and then you ask the person behind me if they needed a menu, not acknowledging the person in front of you.

Me and my partner went to shell's kitchen in Raleigh. We stood in line for an hour waiting on them to open. We spent $80 on two meals. Just to get home and try the food. The food was very bland and tasted like something my 10 year old cousin would make. The Mac n cheese was also kinda rubbery. I was very disappointed. The egg roll was good but very expensive. $8 bucks for an egg roll. I will not be going back. The only good thing was the Italian ice from the food truck beside them. Their service was even better than shells they had a nice variety of flavors and also funnel cakes.
